Guys love all the Boleros. Makes me proud to be an owner of one.

@ innerkarma - love what you have done. gives it a lot of character.
@chaxy, akshay, darxide, BoleroBoy nice rides guys.

Was planning to sell my ride and upgrade to a scorpio, but after looking at the pics, i think i will keep it and change the upholstery and add alloys!

Or just maybe if i can find a Bolero 4WD with a XDP engine, i have a few ideas that i would like to implement. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Nice rides chaxy, akshay and darxide,

@G-BoleroBoy - Your bolero looks great. You could consider a bullbar in the front with lights like innerkarma's ride. IMO, painting the alloys black would also make it look awesome.

innerkarma...your bolero is one of the best looking ones i've seen, save for the loud 'Mahindra' in the front in the wrong font. I think you should lose that. Everything else looks superb, especially the alloys...love em !! And as for the scorpio engine swap, nothings impossible, but its easier (peace of mind) to buy a scorpio IMO. Btw...where did you source the jeep taillights and the monogram from !?

hi BolBolero.a bolero with 4WD is a great choice with versitality. but it doesnt have the the ride quality and comfort or handling when compared to a 2WD with an independent front suspension.
maybe i say this because i NEVER take my bolero off road because i love it so much.
i think so far akshay and innerkrama are only guys who USE their boleros as SUVs(and have the pictures to prove it)

Hi darxide,
Totally agree with you on the handling part of the 4wd. One of the reasons I am considering a 4wd is that I have got stuck a couple of times in sand, slush, etc. Luckily i could find people around, who were kind enough to push me out. 4wd was sorely missed at that point.
Intend driving around India, maybe to parts which may need some sort of mild off roading. As i said, keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for a Bolero 4wd. If i find one, will see what can be done to improve the ride quality, G.C., etc., with advice from all the gurus on T-BHP.
Till then, new upholstery, alloys and tires it is.

Gautam.

@Mission_safari
Those wheel flares, are those custom made? If yes, could you find out the details? They are broader than the normal ones and a boon to the ones riding on tyres that pop out. Bolero is know to splash itself in rainy season

This was done exactly for the same reason you mentioned. We wanted to avoid splashing water to itself and hence went ahead with this idea. They were custom made at Hi-Rev.

Would it be possible for you to get an approx price quote? Including fabrication, painting and fixing.
