Obviously as I mentioned buying online in India for high value items are far from reality for the same law enforcement reasons.

If you even try to buy an item from USA sitting in India it is as good as buying it from an online Indian store, so I wouldn't recommend that for any of my country men.

Hi Trammyway,

Thanks for your post as just right now i was looking at a citizen on ebay. Could you let me know how to go about the process? The watch is 520 on macys and i get it for 380 on ebay. Other than the buyer rating whats the way to avoid getting conned? This is my first big buy.

I see couple of Tag Heuers listed for around INR 9K. Avoid this site.

Can anybody refer any reliable watch repair shops in Bangalore, specifically around Bannerghatta Road, J P Nagar, Jaya Nagar, BTM, Koramangala etc.

I usually go to the watch store just outside the Jayanagar BDA complex. Don remember the name, but the owner/manager is a courteous guy, and has the expertise to take care of common watch issues. Not sure whether he can handle high end watches though.

I couldn't resist sharing this picture that I took using my mobile camera on the car, this picture turned out to be very interesting for the automobile and the watch combination.

I call this picture as "Circles" - Mercedes Benz C280 with Panerai PAM168 Luminor Regatta Chrono

Finally the dream of owning luxury Swiss watch has come true.

I bought this yesterday as my Birthday Gift

OMEGA SPEEDMASTER 3212.80.00

Got this from Ethos in Mumbai

This is COSC CRONOMETER.

Got myself a new HMT Pilot mechanical watch with white dial and blue hands. Initially, I wanted one with black dial but the white dial is more exquisite. Had to wait for 2 months to get this one.

Hi All,

Ordered my Citizen 8020-54L online from ewatches.com. Very good service on the website and watch came in a week. My first expensive watch and i was all excited.

Watch came packed in a Blue angels box with warranty info and cd and the manual. I took the lazy route of going to a store to get this setup and realised that they had no idea on how to set the time.

Came home popped in the cd and got to know how to operate this one. Overall good experience. I need to go over the manual further. This is a very good watch for someone who needs a chrono and not a very big dial.

I will post the pics shortly.

Maddy
