A couple of years before I bought my first Excel for 1.5K ( second hand)
If at all its available as a fresh one, they may ask 2.0K ++
to my knowledge @ HMT show rooms, they don't sell, they may redirect to their dealers, where you can't get Bill & warranty card...as its old stock & they also doesn't have this model at their price list !!

Man, Titan has some gorgeous watches:D

My new addition (thanks to Classifieds) and the surprise gift for my wife that I should be giving tomorrow :)

I am using first replica of tag heuer grand carrera calibre 17 (Thanks to Classifieds) but the leather strap has gone bad and I am thinking to get something which can suit the watch. Any idea about the cost and where can I find it in Delhi/NCR Region?

My latest addition: Citizen Super Titanium CA0021-53E. My AD tells me it's one of only 7 pieces in the country (Though more are expected). It's really lightweight, great build quality and and the perfect dress-sport combo!! Plus I got a great deal too. :thumbs up:thumbs up

Guys, I'll be fying through the Singapore airport this weekend and would like to pick up a watch.

Budget: approx $2000

I am not very savy about watches, but would like one which not too flashy or sporty. Please suggest.

Hi Pal

I love your watch, seeing this in Shopper Stop for 15k, how much did you get it for?

If you're talking USD then I guess you could lay your hands on an evergreen, classic-looking pre-owned two-tone Rolex Datejust. And in future you might get a good salvage value on it too. Only thing I don't know is how much you might have to spend on the maintenance/upkeep of the watch, movement etc.:)

For subtle yet elegant designs, my choices would be Raymond Weil, Longines and Baume and Mercier. You can easily get RW and Longines in that budget. You may have to slightly stretch the budget for B & M.

Do post a pic once you buy.

Hi Folks,

I'm thinking of buying the Orient CEM65001B 'Black Mako' Automatic Dive Watch soon, and was wondering if anyone here owns this or any other model from Orient.

Most reviews of this model on the net are positive; but due to the abundance of ghost written reviews floating around, I would appreciate if I get to read a reliable first hand ownership experience before I take the plunge. Some feedback criteria that I'm looking for are build, accuracy, looks (in real life, not in photos), battery life, power reserve etc.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Vikram

Just ran into this thread and I love this thread. I own quite a few watches too:

1. A Movado
2. Rolex GMT Master II
3. A Citizen Perpetual calendar
4. A few cheap watches
5. And my pride and joy - a Titan Exacta. My oldest watch, have had it from school
