That was an innocent joke:), Yes there are few watches cost less but looks better than many of these luxuary watches. I had a plan to buy SNA411 but ended up buying SNA765, it was love at first sight:D.
Breitling's Brand philosophy is defined by their tag-line - "Instruments for Professionals."
while their quality and reliability and accuracy etc is beyond reproach, the prices tell the tale.
The Seiko watches are as high in terms of quality and reliability etc - but are priced well within the reach of the common man.

I saw similar one at Bangalore central by Casio for 9K. Looks very cool. But again counted zeros in 9K (3 zeros) and dropped the idea :D
I have a Guess Steel and a couple of Kenneth Cole watches. I just love my Guess. Got one of the Kenneth Coles on Valentine's Day.:)

Know a watch which comes remotely close to this ideal device? I'd be all ears, eyes, billfold... |
Ram, I have been looking for something similar for a long time. From what I have googled, no calorie-counter watch with GPS offer MP3/4 features.
Garmin Forerunner 405 and FR60 have GPS in addition to the calorie counter.
RCA Jet series have pedometer with MP3 player.
I read long back that 'Creative labs' filed a patent for a device (watch) supporting pedometer, GPS and MP3 player.
Oops...
Sorry for digging up the old post, Ram. Did You find such a wrist-watch yet?
Pyxis seem to offer such watches.
PS: When I selected 'New Posts', I saw some very old threads (with no new posts) show up.

Tissot T-Touch &
Espirit Chronograph

hi
i got my watch box today from RI too. No point posting pics because it is exactly the same as lateesh's. Wish they had had a dark tan/ light tan option because in my opinion leather looks best in a tan shade since you get to see and enjoy the look and feel and grain, such as it is.
its nice, no doubt. nice leather smell too.
Lateesh - it is made of chrome tanned, corrected grain leather - chemically topped etc but a good functional product at this price of Rs 1320/-. fit and finish i agree is a bit squiffy to say the least - especially the alignment of the snap fasteners and the leather tabs on which the snap fasteners are placed.
inside its pretty ok - functional like I said, but the quality of edging, flocking etc is a bit scuzzy.
however, lets not grumble too much - Im already using it and it is certainly a good accessory for one's wardrobe. atleast one can be sure of easy access to ones timepieces and can carry a selection of such timepieces when one is travelling about.
all in all Im pleased i bought it from the pure utility point of view.
cheers.
sb

Received the watch box from Royal Images today. It was neatly packed and there was no damage at all. But fit and finish of the box is not top notch and I have a doubt in the quality of leather they used.
Something is better than nothing:) |
