No legacy stuff, but bought myself a bling-bling LED watch for about $15.
a) shows time every 15 mins, can be set not to.
b) has about 7 intensity levels, currently on the lowest and still readable in direct sunlight.
c) attention grabber. :D
indeed attention grabber. Can you share the name / model no ? let me look it up at amazon
Time piece for attention grabbing, you need to check Mr. Flavor flav:D.
@Rocky - It's an attention grabber for sure, and the price you paid is good. Could you please post some wrist shot?

Hi fellow bhpians, as posted earlier somewhere in this thread, I do not have a big collection, still, Yesterday I got time to click my wrist watches.

I wear it with white/ black shirts only
This one is a Benetton, gifted to me by wife Just like that !!

ahh !! this 1 here, is my all time fav

3sprit
This was purchased in 2008, as a couple watch (wife and me)

On Feb 2010, I gave my wife this watch and a Nokia 5233 as surprise gift
Its a Tommy Hilfiger
She really liked it (so I decided to share it here), purchased from IGI Airport, New Delhi
Thats all I have, planning to get another Swatch soon, bbut before that Hankook/ Kumho white lettered 165/70/12 tires for my ride...
Have fun guys :) !!!!!!!!!!
@Hviswanantahan - Nice collection.
But the Patek Philipe, Movado and Longiness looks like replica. Maybe its because of how the photos was taken. I know its a rude thing to say, but I hope you take it as a innocent query from a person with genuine interest in horology.
Can you please let me know the model of the Longines.
Also please share the model number of the Constantine? Is it the new Toledo ?. White Gold /Platinum?
If its platinum , you are one of the luckiest 100 people in the world and I am your best friend :)
@Rocky- Too good.Love the watch !!!
Hello Guys
Anyone of you using a Atomic Timekeeping watch with Radio-Controlled Accuracy ?
Like Citizen Skyhawk
Do they work fine in India as the Stations are in USA Japan and Germany and I guess u need to be in 1500KMS radius to get a signal.
Please let me know if anyone of you using it , I am planning to buy 1 but not sure will they work in India or not.

*sigh* really beautiful watches all over this thread. Been following this thread for a long time, without actually getting enough steam to get up and photograph all my watches and post. Both of us are incurable watch buyers, and a stopover at a good watch shop can spice up any mundane shopping trip for us.
Well, here goes a shot of most of my watches together in one place. This obviously doesn't include those my wife has... :) Attachment 299845 |
Nice collection dada. I will also try to post my collection .
My wife gifted me a Seiko 5, automatic recently. It has a lovely blue/voilet dial. All steel. The sweeping seconds hand gives a retro feel. I am loving it. Shall post a pic at the first opportunity. Next on list is Seiko Kinetic. Any reviews?
