Hello Guys

Anyone of you using a Atomic Timekeeping watch with Radio-Controlled Accuracy ?
Like Citizen Skyhawk
Do they work fine in India as the Stations are in USA Japan and Germany and I guess u need to be in 1500KMS radius to get a signal.
Please let me know if anyone of you using it , I am planning to buy 1 but not sure will they work in India or not.

My friend is using one in India. You wont be able to timesync it in India, but
the watch will continue to operate with the last time sync.

But if you travel to USA/Japan/Germany , then it will update itself again.

And its a yummy watch!!!.

My collection

1. Titan
2. Timex
3. Fast track
4. Swatch
5. Casio
6. Fossil

Hey thanks for the info , do you have any idea how long it can work with last time sync? And what happens if I don't travel to USA/Japan/Germany for a long long time ?

My wife gifted me a Seiko 5, automatic recently. It has a lovely blue/voilet dial. All steel. The sweeping seconds hand gives a retro feel. I am loving it. Shall post a pic at the first opportunity. Next on list is Seiko Kinetic. Any reviews?

My dad gifted me a stainless steel (matt finish) Seiko Kinetic when i finished my post-grad in 1998. I have not used any other watch and 12 years later its still wonderful. So much so that we got my brother a similar Seiko Kinetic but with a gold finish around the dial upon his demand when he graduated.

Highly recommended.

Nowadays you have variants which also show the reserve power.

If you dont travel for a long time, it will be like any other wtch . Slowly but surely losing accuracy , but at a very micro level.

Posting pic of the couple.

Wife's Oyster Perpetual Copper Gold with Pink Face and my Oyster Perpetual .

Cool couple there, lucky you!!. But your pic does no justice to these beauties.

Why dont you try another shot with light background and in Macro mode?

I really want a Tissot T-touch. Any real world expierences with this watch?

Anyone here with a Classic Favre-Leuba?

@Cyrus: My grandfather had one, and now passed onto my dad. But it is just a plain one.

@Cali: I have a Tissot Touch Navigator 3000 (Model discontinued). Its a good watch , but no compass, altimeter or Thermometer. But the world time function is good if you travel a lot, because with one touch you can swap between Home and Away time.

You will find SeaTouch or T-Touch for 30000 - 40000 INR or there are outlets in Dubai selling the discontinued Navigator Touch for 16000 INR. It has worldtime, chrono, Alarrm, Date accessible by Touch.

I have a 1950s Favre-Leuba back at home in Calcutta, will post a pic once I go back. I think it is called Sea-master or something like that and it still works without a repair ever except for replacing the broken glass.

It is Sea Chief, a hand wind model. Here is mine, circa 1965 if I remember right.

Casio Edifice EF 121 for me. It is highly functional and thats what made me go for it.
