I can see 'Subscribe to this thread' option under 'Thread Options', and I think it automatically subscribes us to the threads that we reply to. However, it doesn't allow blocking of unwanted thread. 'Unsubscribe' is not possible without subscribing first. And even then, the thread would still show up in 'New posts' link.



I think you meant to reply my post regarding blacklisting the threads. The 'ignore this thread' is a gentle version of the idea!

I receive an Email whenever I have been quoted or receive a PM. Is there any way to disable just the email but keep 'receive a PM when quoted' enabled? Tried everything, doesn't seem to work.

Quick Links -> Edit Options -> Messaging & Notification -> uncheck "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages"

I was just searching for a resolution for my Fortuner (Steering vibrations) few days back and got this idea.

I think we should have all the related issues /resolutions/ suggestions consolidated for cars, company wise.
For example, All Toyota related issues/resolutions in One thread, similarly, Hyundai related issues/resolutions in one thread, etc

I know there are threads available for few cars (Example: Scorpio - All issues and niggles, Safari - All issues and niggles)

But, if there are dedicated threads related to all companies, it will be easy to search and post.

As a summary, we can add one "Issues /Resolutions" in Home Page, Forum section and on this click, we can go and display all the company related posts. (Toyota, Hyundai, etc). On click of this, we should be able to see direct threads posted by individuals or further drill down to cars(Fortuner, Innova etc)

Just some eg. For cars without many issues reported, discussions typically take place in the Official Review thread. Anything major and Mods create a new thread.

One Suggestion: Put team-bhp.com into HTTPS by default.

Is there a way to receive notifications if a particular message (of another user) is responded to? When one's messages are responded / quoted to, one could receive notifications but not for responses to other's messages. While subscription to a thread could notify, it does so if there are new messages on a thread, which leads to a larger number of notifications.

Most website owners have compulsions/apprehensions that prevent them from doing this (and instead do what team-bhp is doing now, which is to have both versions side-by-side). Hence this extension:

This is akin to a spoilt child asking for an extra tub of ice cream. So, feel free to ignore if impractical.

While browsing the site on mobile using the smartphone skin, I could really use a back arrow somewhere on the top left portion of the screen. It would be convenient when holding the phone in the left hand, like I do ever so often stupid:, really, really stupid:.

Is it possible to give a choice of where the "Team-BHP.com" watermark is to be placed on a picture while attaching them? Many a time, the water mark overlaps the spot where the attention is required.

You might want to look at options that allow you to do this browser-wide, and if possible phone-wide. Not much point in getting this done on exactly one website.

There are many apps in the Play Store that let you configure gestures and actions. I have heard good stuff about this one:

Every Sunday Morning, I see a lot of mails from TeamBhp in my GMail Inbox. This is happening in spite of me selecting the Option "No Email Notifications" in Default Thread subscription mode" in the my Options Page

I donot want to receive any mails in my Gmail Inbox since I already would have seen all these threads during week days post working hours.

Is this a bug or a feature ? How to disable these mails from sending to my mailbox ?

Attached are my forum settings. The last email I have received is dated my birthday of 2014 (after which I think I unsub'ed from that one too).
