One more suggestion wrt the classifieds section. I recently wanted to post an Ad for buying a car. I went to the Wanted >> Cars link. Now, I wanted to read the classifieds rules before posting but could not find that link anywhere on that page and had to go back to the classifieds home to read the rules.

Is it possible to place a link to the rules on all the pages for easier reference and greater visibility ?

Hi Deepu, I have made a note of this and will check if it can be implemented.

Hi finneyp, Unfortunately, the research team has only averaged the FE of production cars.

Thanks kvish. Will have a new field put in, which allows the seller to choose between New / Used when listing a product.

GTO & Mods, when a new member joins in, it will be good if the link to Sam's thread on 'How to Post in Proper English' is included in the the Welcome mail/PM.

Although its a good suggestion, I feel some people might find it offensive.

Precisely why we didn't include it, despite a discussion amongst the Support Team. Anyways, a new member only needs a little time to know how strict we are about posting quality.

Hi GTO,

If i click the Forum Link from our all-new re-designed web page, the resulting forum window opens in a new window.

Is it possible to open the forum window in a New TAB (feature found in IE 7 & Firefox) by default?

In Firefox, go to Tools --> Options and select "Tabs" option and keep your settings as per this screenshot:

Raajiv,

You could also try (im not sure of the combination on your browser) :
- CTRL + click
- SHIFT + click
- CTRL + SHIFT + click

One of those might do the trick if you want your default to still be "new window" in MF's suggestion/screenshot.

about adding a location field in classifieds

Dear Mods,
How about adding a location field when you open a list of classifieds? It will help the viewer to quickly identify vehicles being sold in his state ,rather than opening each individual ad to find that it is of some other state.

GTO / Mods, wondering if there's a problem with notification mails.

Got a notification mail today (26th Feb) reg an update on a thread. The mail was dated yesterday (25th Feb). And the update was for a post done on that thread - on 19th Feb.

Also, should we have a separate thread for problems noticed & one for suggestions ?

GTO and mods,my inbox was nearing the limit so i thought of deleting some mails from it.I was surpised that we couldnt check the mails by ticking and delete in a group. We have to open each and delete each one by one.Cant we add the group delete option.
