Why are we so uncomfortable with the idea that there may be intelligent extraterrestrial life apart from th earth. In the vastness of the known universe there are billions of planets with earth like characteristics which could possibly have carbon based life forms.

I would like to believe that we are not alone in the Universe and it's just a matter of time before we make meaningful contact with intelligent extraterrestrials. I just hope it happens in my lifetime!

That UFO is surely unaliened (Similar term like unmanned) because that kind of acceleration would kill any living being, unless those aliens have a solid state body.

the reason for that can be found on this forum itself.

humans are social animals. Like we forum here with others to discuss our passion of automobiles. It is socially acceptable to discuss automobiles because that is how our media and rulers have decided it to be thus. Humans thus need social support and acceptance on the topics they need to discuss or are present in them, when such social support is absent then folks simply do not know where or how to validate their information or queries arising out of their understanding.

but when it comes to such topics as this one, the media ridicules/defames those who discuss such topics as the one in this thread. Thus society is conditioned (artificially imho) to not delve upon such issues then the few folks who do want to debate this are isolated and have no space for validation. Once a topic loses legitimacy in this fashion it is easy to curtail any discussion on it.

thus the normal post-modern human response is couched in comedy or a dismissive attitude even though they like everyone may want to know what your views are.
