My numbers also have some series in them. Each number has 2 digits repeating in an odd or even fashion at alternating intervals!

(2000) Fiero - 3234
(2004) Zen - 3656
(2006) Apache - 2629

its been a belief that numbers should be in ascending order or atleast close to each other my two bits on our cars

4554,5445
378,455
4757,5787

and presently 2444,waiting.

Can any one throw light on why MH01 registration series alone has gone
the way AA, BA,.......and i suppose now its at WA while all others MH02, 03 etc have gone AA, AB, AC....!!
Is Mumbai RTO a special RTO !!

Probably my fellow Mumbai BHPians may have a clue !

My vehicles registration no. are

577 for very old vespa scooter
7777 for Getz and i had to wait 5 months for this no but i like the fact that now everyone looks at my car,no.plate and me...

2. Ambassador - 3036 = 3

My Cars
1. 118 NE - 6996 = 3
2. M 1000 - 2678 = 5 (PY Regd)
3. M 1000 - 5530 = 4 (Changed to TN)
4. Esteem - 3199 = 4
5. Esteem - 9275 = 5 (Currently own)

My Bikes/Scooters
1. Bajaj Super = 9632 = 2
2. Yezdi - 2257 = 7
3. K Honda - 7181 = 8
4. K Honda - 5003 = 8 (Was allotted this number because i refused to pay the extra demanded for getting a non-8 number. i dont care)

And now the latest addition to my family:

(2006) Zma - 5456

The plot gets thicker. All my bikes (barring the Apache, that's bro's) have first and third digit the same. The car has the second and fourth digit the same. The difference between the first two and last two digits is 2 or multiples of 2. For two-wheelers, it is 2 (32-34 / 54-56) and for cars it is 20 (36-56). Multiply by 10 for the extra set of wheels? freaky!

New Santro - 1230

My lucky nos are 3,6 or 9. And i wanted 30 in the nos. Coz my earlier teo whellers had that nos. i.e Scooter - 3061 and Enfield Bullet - 3039.
