I personally wouldn't prefer such wheels for the S-class but must say it's worked wonders for the car. Looks sober & there's no denying it's a gutsy attempt.

All of a sudden i feel so 'Dubai'ish' in here. Lol !! Though, Personally not a big fan of those rims. The Project Kahn or 22' Lorinsers would have looked way better. Hats off for the boldness to give it a go.

I usually find the infamous black S500 with regn # S 500 besides me in traffic on my way to work most often. Today, I did spot it but to my dismay it was on a trailer ! Did not notice any accidental damages, seems like another case of the redundant MB electronic or mechanical failure

(Pardon the haziness in the image)

I thought BMW's were famous for their mechanical failures. Is mercedes also known for that ?

my friends new s class went for service..it came back with the ac not working..apparently the used the software of the old s on this one and screwed it all up. No doubt thats the serice guys fault and not the car, but still he aint happy with the overall experience

The hybrid is only in LHD and due to limited trial and volumes it will not be made in RHD for this generation nor is the BMW 7 planned in RHD for hybrid models initially.

Facelifted S-class - S500 tested

I tested the new facelifted S-class (S500) last week from Delhi. I had the drive on Delhi-Jaipur highway & photo shoot was done at Gurgoen. It was a great drive & the drive ended at Delhi airport. Will be preparing the test review soon! Enjoy folks!

The car looks good, but I personally preferred the understated design of the pre-facelift model. This is kind of un-mercedes! Waiting for the test drive report!

S600 Guard - The same S-guard which was the same one displayed at Merc's pavilion. Spotted it on the first media day, i.e, 5th Jan. An E350 was first displayed in place where the S-Guard later displayed.

I was told that seven S-Guard was sold to President's fleet including two Pulmann (stretch) too. Another S-Guard (FL) was also delivered to Pakistan Embassy & I've seen the same from Delhi once.

The biege S (pre-FL) seen at Pragati Maidan. It seems that this one is S500!

Nice pics Hanmust! The new S looks better with the LED tail-lights. However I hate the chrome strip and the LED lights on the front bumper. Also it would have been good if they had retained the color-coded inserts in the tail-lights.

The S was already a very pretty car but somehow MB have managed to make it prettier. The changes are more obvious from the back, the new tail light looks awesome and the exhaust looks chik.
Love the front grille too. The only thing i dislike about it is the chrome strip on the front. It adds too much bling to the car.
