I've seen a LHD VW Beetle in Mumbai running on MP plates, wonder how that got through.
Also there are pics on our forum of a Bentley & 2 Maybach's (both LHD's) demo cars on temporary plates.
Maybe a lot of influence was used & fines/penalties would have been paid then to register here!

That doesn't quite look like Rosso Corsa, or is it just me?

If it's Rosso Fiorano, it's a country first!

Rosso Corsa is a color, and not a model. I believe you are confused between the F12 Berlinetta and the FF.

Hey Shamik, much obliged or am i
Well what's confusing is why colours of Ferrari are discussed in Italian than English!? I walked into Ferrari show rooms in english speaking countries since early 90's and not once had to contend with trying to familiarise myself with the colours in Italian, they were simply spoken or described in plain English! ..Jesus

Is this just a thing here on tbhp amongst a few who I don't presume are the real owners or anything else but enthusiasts? Or has it become the in thing to talk Ferrari colors in Italian. Which is which Shamik? Would appreciate your input on this? Perhaps will have to start brushing up on my Italian as folks here may start talking in Italian only when it comes to Ferrari, just kidding

Color certainly seems not the usual Ferrari red but a wine red duh, that sounded simple enough

Well, if Ferrari nomenclates their shades in Italian, you can't possibly utter the names in Japanese/Marathi/Urdu. It's all about being specific as an enthusiast. And a brief description about that particular shade is not that hard to come by in Google.

Two things, firstly I don't think only owners/prospective owners/people who can afford one only need to know about the nomenclature Ferrari uses for their colors, as auto enthusiasts I don't see any problem in being informed.

And, no only wine red doesn't do the trick my friend, as Ferrari has a dozen shades probably in the 'English' red as you call it.
some are regular, some are exclusive to certain niche customers of Ferrari
Thus,General knowhow of the shades wouldn't hurt.
Cheers

Re: Supercars & Imports : Goa

RMan, , You have aptly put down our thoughts. Commoners like me who can stay as enthusiasts for the rest of our life and not own one of these Italian horses can talk and learn about the Italian colour jargon.
Anyways i believe the colour that we see here can be Rosso Mugello, one of the darker shades of red. I found this image of a 458 online in a similar shade but the image isn't tampered or edited so might as well give us a clearer idea.

Yes, indeed it does seem like Rosso Mugello
It's too dark to be Rosso Cords while to solid to be Fiorano.
I think we have found the color, though a Ferrari expert can come and correct us.

I didn't know that some colors were exclusive to a certain category of customers only. Thanks for the information mate.
As for this color, if we can have the original picture we can surely figure it out.Looking for some inputs from the Ferrari experts.
but the Blue FF looks extraordinary.

The "certain category of customers" here are the ones who are willing to pay extra for the paint :LOL

BTW Ferrari offers 12 different shades of red across their lineup.

And as for this FF, seeing the other pics it seems to be Rosso Corsa to me. Guess its the edit making it look darker. :/
