hi all - an office friend tells me there is a dodge viper in town, very recently shipped from US. my friend was quoted 63 lacs, which included paperwork et al

Anyone spotted a dodge viper in bangalore yet

Yes Ajmat spot on. I found the car opp' HAL. He actually had to go diagonally to clear the speed breaker. Not a good sight though.

was the viper converted to a RHD. how could the car be brought into the country as a LHD.u are not allowed to import a LHD car according to the law. i think there is something wrong here as the car in bombay was being quoted at 75 or 80 lacs secondhand.

sup guys..
i had been for the match celebrations on brigade road..
a huge crowd turned up...
and guess wat..
a huge number of superbikes also turned up :-)
busa,ninja,r1s,gsr etc..
they were al revving up like hell.
was awesome..........

amatmo i am talking about what is written by JASSI from bangalore in post number 917. SRK has posted the car from bombay when the law was not in affect. the black one is a friends car.

Manish hope you got pictures of the bikes. do post them in the motor bike section. thanks

Nissan 350Z looks nice... and the Porsche is great from any angle..It is an engineering masterpiece.

the dodge viper is a LHD and was imported in dec 2006 (probably before the rhd rule came in). Also its a second hand car. Will try and get some pics if my office colleague goes to see it again (at 63 lacs i doubt if he will buy it)

IIRC the no-LHD rule was introduced in 2003 or so.
