Congrats Narula.

Gorgeous looking bike. Lots of great times ahead. Please make sure that you're fully geared up for a safe experience.

Please do remember 'It's better to sweat than bleed'. Wear protection.

Have a safe and great time. Cheers

Re: The Green Assassin - My 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650

Hey Narula,

Congrats on your Assasin. A little late in posting here. I was a bit busy on my assassin. Just finished the 1600kms run in. Waiting to unleash all her horses.
Exhaust note sounds a little more gruff once the 4000rpm run in is completed. i guess the exhaust note will open up a little more in the coming days.
Safe riding

I'm the same height and i dont face any problems. My feet touch the ground (bare feet). With any riding shoe you will feel very comfortable.

Do tell your friend, that when it comes to the cost of maintenance, the Ducati will eat him alive without a burp. With the mentioned height, reaching the ground with your feet shouldn't be an issue, though Im not too sure on that.
Yes he found out about the difference in maintenance costs between the two,I also told him about the blore dealers horror stories,so as of now he's decided to stay away from ducati. Its his first super bike so told him to play safe and stick to the ninja. He's still unsure and trying to make up his mind.

Forgot to carry my SLR in excitement to Mysore, so all of you will have to manage with my mobile pics.

Pics and words don't to justice to this bike.

The following was said by my better half on seeing her for the first time.

"She looks like a MONSTER".

She feels huge, massive mass. I sat on it, she feels so perfect, felt like "EK DUJE KE LIYE" [Made for each other].

I was fed up with HDFC banks inability to release the amount in a week, decided to pay the remaining amount upfront. She is mine forever now. Will be getting her to BLR on Wednesday.

I beg to differ. I have a 2011 model N650 and a 250 standing in my building's parking and the colours are perceptibly different (atleast to my eye). The new shade is darker and more metallic.

Found a great way to secure the bike. Am going to design and fabricate this one myself. Just waiting for the bike to get the right dimensions.
