Thanks!
BRATs organizes rides almost every Sunday. Typically about 300-400 KMS total (to and fro) They have also organized couple of overnighters (longer distance as well), which were supported by the dealer as well.

Its a good group to ride with and I have enjoyed my ride with them (as I am not always in Bangalore).

Best Regards & Ride Safe

Finally managed to get the risers installed. At first, they improve the reach to the handle bars, and provide a more upright stance, which is what I intended to achieve. Handling wise everything remains pretty much the same. The down side is with the upright stance, the wind blast is more prominent. These are 20mm risers and the maximum one can raise the bars, with the stock cables and brake lines.

Nice to know that handling is not affected and comfort is improved, Sharath.

Did you source this from the Triumph showroom? How much did it cost if you don't mind sharing?

Got them fitted at the dealership, as I wanted to get the alignment right and i didn't have the thread locker that's required to secure the bolts correctly.

Re: Triumph Street Triple: Ownership Review

Hey Sharath, quick question? Have you adjusted your rear springs settings? It comes set to fully soft from factory. I was having grounding issue with pillion so moved it to first notch and it has improved. Wanted to know your opinion, if you have tried this.

Re: Triumph Street Triple: Ownership Review

Yes Sir, I too was having grounding issues with the softest setting, especially with the pillion. So had it adjusted to position 2 ( the next after the softest ) and this has improved the situation. However, with my weight ( 65Kgs ), I find it a bit stiff while riding solo. The rear tends to bounce a a bit on bumpy surfaces. So choosing the best of the two worlds, I've kept the stiffer setting.

On a related note, were you able to change the setting on your own? Or did you get it done at the ASC? I tried making it softer, using the tool they've provided and was unsuccessful in making it softer

Did it myself That tool is a tricky and a wobbly thing.

Use one hand to hold it in position and the other to turn. The space is restrictive, so i couldn't get it to go to position 3. I might do that when i goto workshop next.

Your most welcome to Hyderabad. I can take care of attendance from this end. Let me know when you guys riding to biryani city

HRAT's rode to Bangalore and received a lukewarm reception from BRAT's but, we will ensure you get a better one

I have another plan. Why dont we have a mid-way meet at Kurnool which is 225kms for HRATs and 350kms for BRAT's?

I have organized a team-bhp drive meet similarly with Bangalore BHPians and we had a great time meeting for lunch in Kurnool at a nice AC restuarant that serves great spicy andhra and telangana food

You can check this thread for that meet details. Do read the posts before and after this post to get a hang of the meet that I organized

Game for a similar one on bikes?
