Major issue everyone had pointed out. To Kawasaki's credit - they point out that most owners back in the day were keen to remove the quad pipes from the Z1.

Dual pipes would have been a good compromise for many.

I test-rode it in Dubai. Its a fantastic bike if you're not a VR46-wannabe, but it still is very fast. Will need a classy fairing that matches the bike to do justice to the speeds it can dial up very fast, though.

Really, really good bike. A classy yet very capable bike-bike finally, not a transformer crotch-rocket. Great quality, too. I would love to own one.

Pity about the pricing, though - even here in DXB its priced on the higher side when compared to other bikes you can get for the money. The R9T, another similar vehicle but of a different character visually, can be had for very little more than what they expect for the Z900RS - and thats a tough ask.

If it were not for the atrocious price tag, I would have really considered this motorcycle over the Versys and the Tiger. Kawasaki just killed this lovely motorcycle by pricing it so high.

Hope they start assembling this here and get the prices down to a decent figure.

That's solely due to display event arranged by Pune dealer from 15th to 19th.
Quite a feat by dealer sales team to sell within that event or owner was influential enough to first get a bike for display before paying for it.
