Great choice on the bike. You could use the same rubber for tracks and street use unless the tires are in really bad shape, in which case you would not pass the safety test itself.
While getting your bike, see if you can opt for a set of michelin pilot power, they are good soft compund and strike a good balance for track and street use. Higher on the budget, you could order a set of metzeler.
If you are into serious timing your laps, and into that whole experto scene, you could look at racing slicks.

2004 Kawasaki ZX - 10R, i think the 2005 was just as mad a bike, but Kawasaki came down on the cockiness in 2006.

thanx for the info on the tyres. after the bike gets delivered to me, it will be my first time on the track so i am more worried about being able to corner well and properly in the first place. i unfortunaly do not get an option to change the tyres and will be getting the bike as it is. i do not even know what tyres they come with.
i am interested in the metlezer's that you have mentioned. how would they help me in my riding experiance. how expensive are they ???

I was quoted 22K for a pair of metlezers, similar spec Michelins cost 16-17K.
I am not experienced enough to distinguish the advantages, maybe prabhu could throw some light on this.
But, if you are just beginning on the track, just start with what you get, and then upgrade when you wear out the first set. This way you will FEEL the difference and worth of putting more expensive rubber, than just knowing that it is the better choice.
