Re: Superbikes spotted in India

Thats a nice set of mods & we both share the same registration nos

The only thing missing IMHO are rear view mirrors for street riding

Please post more sharper photos preferably taken in the morning with nice back-ground.

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

This is Parryboy from Pune. Would like to share the bikes which me and my brother own.

I own a Yamaha GTS 1000 - Very rare model to see in India. This is the bike with MonoShock Suspension in front and comes with an ABS.
My Brother owns a Yahama VMAX 1200.

Let me know your views. The pics are a bit shaky as were taken from a phone camera. Will upload the latest pics in some time.

A few months back , I spotted you guys outside motocafe (sunday evening) followed by Dr.Sujat's Gixxer (not sure). I kept asking people if they had ever seen the older "yellow" vmax in pune but none of them knew you i guess.

Yes we do couple of rides sometimes. We both are based out of Mumbai and come to Pune on weekends. Presently the Vmax is in Mumbai. Will be taking mine too. Have managed to get a good covered parking lot.

We are new to the circuit of Superbikes. Thus no one knows us, and on that we are based out of mumbai, thus only get weekend nights to drive these beast.

thanks.

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

As this is a spotting thread have anyone seen a ZRX 1200 the Eddy Lawson replica bike? I used to ride one.

I would be happy if anyone has so that I can get my hands on that.

@ Parryboy- Thats a real rare one and looks well maintained. Congrats. I never imagined there would be a GTS1000 in India. I remember the front suspension was a great feat by Yamaha at that time and they priced the bike on par with the costly BMWs, but sadly the bike was discontinued. I am sure with addition of some hard luggage, this bike is a great sport tourer.

@ Haroon . Thanks. Actually there are only two existing GTS 1000 in India as of today which i know off. One is Mine and one is with a Pvt collector in Hyd.So i am one of the unique bikers. Busa, R1's and GIXERS are plenty to search for in India. Sorry guys no comments on this i do respect your rides and very much love them for their looks and speed. But still my ride is one rare one to find and i am proud of it.

This bike is maintained. Managed to get this from one of the pvt collectors. Its a 1993 model. She Still can beat the new ones. Pity i dont have the Hard luggage kit, and its not available these days. Looking for someone to get them out for sale and then will procure it.

Lucky me i got a good Friend to work on this bike. Love this guy to keep my bike to the best looking and maintained ever. C.O.P.S know the person i am speaking about.

Thanks.

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

spotted a white honda CB1000RR on the way back from Mysore towards Bangalore on the State Highway.
Two people, both wearing the lids but no other protection gear, road was wet and slippery and very heavy traffic considering sunday late evening. Although they were driving quite controlled at around 70Kph, but amazed to see that the bike wasnt loud at all, like other litre class ones.
