The round light blades were the 93, and maybe the 94 ones. The 95 had headlamps like the one you've posted, they remained amost the same till 99.
You probably saw some other bike then.

manson.

The US spec 900 RR's (which that bike is) had round headlights till '95. '96 saw the 'Fox-eye' headlamps come in. In EU the bike came with the Fox-eye headlights from '94 onwards.

The '99 spec bike was made only for that year. So the '98, '97 ,'96 spec bikes had the same headlights and hence the headlights that you see on the '99 bike will not be seen on any previous model. It was only for that 1 year.

Not trying to pull this off topic, but sammy, if you've got the money,go get yourself a good bike. I did just that, and got a 2004 Suzuki SV650S last week. Haven't been riding it much, but I hope to do so this week. Can't explain the feeling of being on a powerful bike!

If sv650 or DL650 was available off the self here, how pleasurable it would have been .

Unfortunately we need to spend thrice the amount of it ,without insurance and warranty .

Some pics of SV650 would be appreciated .

Nitin, i've always wanted to hear a twin with an aftermarket exhaust, when do we get a short sound clip?
The stock pipes sound quite lazy from the videos i googled while i was looking up a TL1000

The V-twin sounds pretty good. The Twin-Brother exhaust adds the thumping effect, especially at low rpm. Crank it up,and its something totally different.

I'll try to get a sound & video clip of the exhaust this evening.
