There's a pair of these red & white R1's in bombay too, located in CBD.
Both were around for the fist ride of the season, was quite nice to see two identical motorcycles ridden in an almost identical pattern.

Apart from the R1s,is there any other SBK thats becoming common in B'lore? There are quite a few Busas. Probably 3-4 ZZR1400s?

Good work,manish!
Nitin: the R1 was extremely popular and I have no doubt when someone claims they saw 50 different ones on the Bangalore roads. However, I've noticed a paradigm shift (bloody advertising term) in recent past: seems to me the Gixxers have more equity now. Many of the guys I ride with own one (in addition to their other steed), and those that don't already own one extoll their many virtues after testing out a buddy's bike, and sound keen enough to order one as soon as they're home. They surely sound HOT and move like the wind, but I've yet to get astride one.

Ah..I love the way you ad- guys write! Fewer words, with a much better effect! In these days of SMS-lingo,and more colloquial style of writing, its a handful of guys on the forum that make the difference.

Quite true about the Kwackers. Not many of them seen around.

Its funny how kawies not just in india but even in the US, they're probably the least sold sports bikes. Partly because the newer gen kawasaki's are not the prettiest but they're definitely the cheapest to buy and give the most hp per dollar!
