Chennai Team BHP meet - Report added

Hi All,

Are we going to have a team meet in chennai some time shortly? Although I dont have the ampere to race now (My wife will stab me), I would love to meet you guys and learn lots from you. Especially Sideways, Nitrous, SAP, Aditya etc.

Any plans??

Hi Ajo,

Me from Chennai too.....is there anyway we can have a name list of Chennai members on Team BHP with their contact numbers ? That would be a great way to keep in touch and get together for meets once in a while.....Chennai Guys/Gals could you respond in this format please ?

a) Real Name / Nick
b) Area of residence in Chennai
c) Your Current Drive / Ride
d) Mobile Number

Hi AJ.... thanks for bringing this topic to life....

Only person i've managed to meet from Chennai Tbhp till date is nitrous.... the others like Sideways/BikerSG etc... i've met them only on the track... oops... i almost forgot... met vikram (Headers) last saturday...

I'm not sure if i am in the city this weekend.... will probably be goin to blore....

anyways here are my details....

c) Your Current Drive / Ride : Esteem.

I shall keep a close watch on this thread.... in case the meet happens this weekend and I am in the city I will positively make it....

I'm Swami from Chennai. Just joined Team-BHP ! I bought a Ltd. Edition Scorpio Petrol Rev 116 - fully loaded - comes with a Renault engine. Would like to modify it ..any ideas / references ?

I was also thinking on those lines for sometime now - good that you put up a thread.

Edit : Oops, noticed only now that the thread was started 3rd April, while responses started coming in only in the last 2 days. Don't know how all of us Chennai-ites missed this one.

So then lets meet up on Sunday 25th June....

I propose we meet at Cafe coffee day Besant Nagar... After the usual intro's and stuff, we can go for a drive on ECR and grab some nice lunch near Mahab's.... sounds like a lotta fun...

So guys is sunday ok? wake up chennai boys...

P.S. Nitrous you know most of the gang... coax them to make this meet a reality....

I'll be in Goa this weekend. I won't be able to make it.

Well guys,i've just spoken to a lot of fellow Chennai BHPians and have promised them a wonderful meet/drive.
I have over 40 Chennai BHPians contacts in my mobile's phonebook which is good for a meet.
This time, we'll have a totally FUN meet.

Sunday+Meet & Greet+ ECR drive till Pondy+Lunch+Driveback.

What y'all think???

by the way, since i just got to know that more than 2 members on this forum are from Choolaimedu, wanted to check if any of you drive a white esteem with rally stripes / alloys / underbody neon / free flow....been seeing the dude too often now to call it a coincidence and i'm sure he's been noticing me too

Not me - I drive a black Baleno, which is as stock as it can ever get.

And I don't think it is mail4ajo either.
BTW, @slipstream, what is your ride ? Possible that I might have seen it around Choolaimedu.
