Southern TriState meet - Oct 2nd long weekend

I guess this is not feasible for Chennai guys - too far to drive down and back, for a 3-day weekend, right ?

Might be too far but if any of the chennai guys are planning to catch a train to Coimbatore, we have seats free so you can hitch a ride...

Don't know about it being too far.

I'm from Hyderabad and since Masinagudi is a favorite destination, I'm sorely tempted! It being 830 km away is a bit of a dampener though...

I'm still thinking and speaking with other T-BHPians about this. Will confirm in a day or 2. I think a night stay is better.
BTW, what are the activities on schedule?

Ok, I voted in, but I STRONGLY suggest that this be atleast 24 hours, if not the whole long weekend. From experience, when you get a bunch of BHPians, some nice rides, some nice locales, and some nice roads together, you will want MORE. Besides, if Meester Sameer is coming, you can't dump him after 12 hours, can you now?

Also, please keep this open to better halves/family. That would entice some more members who may want to also spend time with family on the weekend.

If the program is for 24 hours then we can have a nice little barbeque dinner, a early morning jungle safari and whole lot of other things.

Ok, that sounds interesting now... so now we are talking about a 2 day affair (2 days and one night...) instead of one day.
