I filled up diesel at a bunk closeby to home and had asked them specifically if the card facility was working. He tried the card and later says the phone connectivity line is kaput . Had to walk to an ATM closeby, withdraw and pay the diesel bill. I will definitely get delayed, and delay you guys too if I leave now for the meeting point. I'll catch up next time.

EDIT: Aditya, vinay (guyfrmblr) was having trouble locating you guys after NICE exit. I've PM'ed you his number. Just get in touch with him and let him know where you guys are.

missed NICE road exit on NH4 at 8:45AM.
reached the next exit - NH48 (Mangalore road) saw two TBHP cars.
Black i20 with LCLC sticker and red Beat with LTD sticker.
stopped to check if they were part of the meet.
they came towards me, I waved at the driver in the red beat and got no reaction.
I turned back to come to the designated meeting point which I had missed.
The meeting point had no TBHP cars and so returned back.
Tumkur Road+TBHP Meet+I=Failure!!!!. 2nd failed TBHP meet for me...sigh! :(

Then Karthikk told that Vinu is near Mangalore exit. So I headed towards there. Unfortunately couldn't locate you. Lets meet next time. Finally only six of us went towards Madhugiri.

hemanth.anand, we could not stop at the meeting point near NICE exit because there was no place to park on the tolled road. So we had to go all the way to Nelamangala where the road ended.

Unfortunately, none of us knew that the Nelamanagla express way and the road after NICE road exit, wouldn't merge until KSRTC depot. The confusion started there. I got to that depot at 8.40 AM and was joined by TCkanth and guyfromblr a few minutes later.

Frankly, I would've missed too. If I hadn't PM'ed my contact number to addyhemmige after reaching the depot, I probably wouldn't have got to know about the new meeting point.

Best part for a meeting point would have been the first CCD on the left at Dobbaspet.
So that immediately after that you guys could easily get on to the SH for Madhugiri.

Addy Dont they allow to park at the the toll booth exit point (after the toll) ?

No Issues. We can park after the toll also. Since we were waiting for others to join so we waited before the Toll.

The Red beat guy was me. I saw you waving at me, I smiled and nodded my head. I honked at you when you took the turn but was of no use, apparently. My apologies.

My third TBhp meet.
This meet was a classic case of Murphy's Law as KarthikK mentioned earlier (not only with him but also with us), be it the various changes in the meeting points or the coordination or missing out on a team member (hemanth.anand).

I really liked what I saw today, and was pleased and happy to be part of this meet. I've been to many outings and events (non TBhp) where I've seen people getting really annoyed / irritated for very small and silly reasons, and immediately the blame game would start and the whole trip used to become a mess.

To be very true to all of you I was mentally prepared to see all of this when Vinu_h gave me a call and told me "The Nelamangala toll road and the NICE road junction (our initial meeting point) do not meet", and we had to shift our meeting point. And then the calls and posts started, while I was thinking - "shucks I hope no one is p*$$*d because of this" with all the planning we still managed to pic a spot which was not convenient.

And soon we were joined by guyfrmblr (Vinay) who was all smiles and was happy to see us. While we were waiting for others to join Vinay got a call and told us that the other members missed the updated point and they will be waiting for us at another meeting point some distance ahead.

All this while I was still hoping for the best while preparing for the worst. We met KiloAlpha, Addyhemmige and Shishir at the latest meeting point, and WOW!!! I must say I was very very happy to see all others smiling and greeting each other and that's when a voice inside me said "may be THIS IS WHAT MAKES TBHP SPECIAL".

Thanks you all for this meet. I missed being part of the complete trip again :(.
