Are you guys talking about the same toll booth? Actually our plan was to meet at the NICE road exit. But what we did not realise was that people taking the Nelamangala toll road could not stop on the tolled road. So me and KiloAlpha decided to reach the end of the tolled road and wait just before the Nelamangala toll booth. If we took the service road after the NBTPL toll booth, we could have stopped.

That's them. I'm probably hiding behind on of those CV's. We did about 5-10 km from there and met up with the rest. Wish you'd followed us.

I too wish I had done that... At that point in time, I was under the impression that I had missed the meeting point (NICE road junction).
Thats precisely why I took a U-turn and thought that the red beat and black i20 are not part of the meet.

This photo was taken at 8:55AM (I remember seeing exactly 9:00AM in my watch)

EDIT: I don't want to ruin the travelogue that Addy is writing by giving away details of the trip.

We should do this again in December(22/23) at say 4 AM to see the sun rise. It'll be around ~5c at that time.

Maybe they are doing it the way the Nandi hills mega meet was done last year in April - dedicated report on the drive and trek. If it means more pictures, my cheers for the dedicated travelogue.

@brraj - you missed it this time, being a trekking enthusiast. Lets plan for a repeat trip here after some time.
