Whoa! Sweet pics! And that road looks like heaven. Is it a one way? Or is there just no traffic on it. ever?

But...April 22nd in Pune is going to be boiling! Like about 40+ degree's! May ditch the bike and just drive there.

The road isn't one way. There is absolutely NO traffic if you get there before say 7:30 am. Even after 7:30 am, the traffic is pretty mild and includes construction material ferry trucks.

Early mornings are cold. We rode with gloves et al but I was sweating on the return journey. I enjoyed it so much that I rode there successively on Saturday and Sunday with different company each time. The saturday ride pics are coming up shortly, courtesy: Technocrat.

EDIT: And now since Desmoquattro has posted the light hints of gravel on the road, "bikers" ye be warned!

So what do you suggest, Rt? The 29th, May 1st, or (heaven forbid) even deeper into May?

If that's a yes, it would be great, as all of us would be getting an average of 58 km/litre from our cars due to the hot air induction. The fact that we'd be going at 48 km/hr should also not be overlooked.

Methinks April 22nd makes the most sense so far. The lesser of all evils.
