Could I have a broad idea of the costs involved in running my car on a track day? 1k, 5k, 10k, more? I have a stock carbureted Zen and can't afford to change any parts including tyres as a result of track use :( :(

On an announced "track day" last time its was 1000/- per car.
You need to have a valid license, helmet and seat belts.

I'm not sure if anything has changed after that.

EDIT : I too have a stock carb Zen which was driven on the track. Except for watching in the RVM to make sure I'll not block faster cars I did't have any problem

That's fantastic! Thanks. Nitrous scared me a few months ago with talk of a fresh set of wheels, brake pads, etc

Will have to waylay an unsuspecting passerby on a two-wheeler to scrounge a helmet... otherwise I'm in! Wait, will add my name to the list...

Guys HELMETS are compulsory and so are seatbelts. Decent tyres etc etc. We are NOT going on track for a jolly ride - right? Well..I'm not
