Hi all,
Just returned from Tirupati, went through all the posts which were posted since I left, Akroy and I discussed the feasibility of the meeting point and it is now confirmed.

I will visit the dhaba near Doddaballapur and check out rates etc.
Will post the figures by 4 pm tomorrow.

Some of our members suggested Silver Oak, Ramanashree California, Doddis etc,
All these places are pretty expensive for the kind of food served.
Moreover like Akroy has mentioned, these places are occupied by groups having conferences especially during weekends.

I think we can lock the itinerary as of now, any further clarifications from my side can be obtained tomorrow.

The itenery seems to be good, But we are missing out on few things.

1) Total kms to travel.
2) Back up plan if .. if any vehicle breaks down(Toe line / Jump start cables and etc.,)
3) If it rains...?

These are minor things but we must not overlook these.

Complete tool kit - Set of spanners, screwdrivers and even a Hammer.
Tubeless Puncture repair kit
Electric Air pump

Can someone carry Jump Starter cable and a Tow rope?

@ Akroy/MJ: One important thing missed. Whatz the approximate amount that has be bought in for your collection by individuals (per head). Pls specify. This needs to be freezed by this afternoon and informed to all the guys (maybe pm/sms) so that there are no hiccups t'mrow morning.

Ok guys !!
Just had chat with hari on phone. He is not infront of PC so posting on his behalf.
1) There is only one assemble point as mentioned in my map before. We will proceed to the farm from there. Hari will be available there. From sharp 8:30AM. Request the people who has confirmed to please PM mjothi you cell numbers.
2) Snacks like chips, boiled eggs, bread will be available during the meet in the farm.
3) There is borewell water in the farm which can be used for drinking. If people want to drink bottle water they can carry it along.
4) The amount of money that needs to be collected will be decided after Hari calls back after lunch (Srini, it wouldnot cross Rs250 / head). He is going to Dodaballapur to talk to the dhaba / restaurant. This update will be provided by 4PM tonight.

Thanks for letting us know well before, Prabhuav.

It would be good for others members to highlight in case they are not joining for lunch. It will help Hari to get a fairer picture for organizing the lunch.

Its good that one of our members brought this topic - Toilet facilities.

I just discussed with Hari. He says its a small village and people there use only the open space for toilet. So, we cannot expect a proper Toilet rooms, but should be ok to use open lands.

I am not sure how many of us are comfortable in this, but just in case, I think its good to be informed.
