This will be ideal on a lazy winter Sunday. Please ask the mods to start a different thread from here. What about food? Carry our own lunch? Or go somewhere on NH6? Married members should bring their family.

The meet was great, I would probably keep the phrase "best" for the future only. We have always have had fun. Take a look at these long lost pages

They boast of pictures such as these

Oops!
But Shuvd's Elantra apparently chasing 1100D is a great shot so far as 'drives and drags' are concerned.
Thanks Anirban da for the next set of wonderful pictures.

We can do it for an entire day or even spend a night there and do a night racing on the GQ ! All the worldly comforts are available in that place. Cooks are present, either we pay them and they get all the things ready for us (but its best if we carry the booze and meat with us,meat not the best there) OR we get packets from any Dhaba like we did it in Razor's place last time.

@Planet : You listening boy? Next meet...

Dear Ultimatechamp-da, would you like another "du" to the suffix? If not, please drop the "da"!!

Few more from my end

Planet Jogajog-Ratna Rocker should be the official coordinator. In fact that should be his permanent role for all our meets.
I think we should carry all the 3M's - mod, mangsho and meyechhele (the wives/children) - ourselves. And no night drag for me. I would like it to be just a day trip.
By the way, it will be nice if everyone could identify themselves in the pics with the pic number and link number etc. I guess everyone is more or less covered among all the pics. Next time we should have a name tag around our neck

A few suggestions.

I guess the next meet onwards we will probably have to regulate the seating arrangements, so as to have more of the newer members at the center.

A prior booking would now be a must.

One more aspect, would be to adhere to the meeting time. As it turned out, some of us were completely drenched awaiting the others, it was only after the wait seemed longer than we expected that we decided to move to the shelter.

Great idea daktaar babu! Let's plan something for Dec/Jan - best time for baganbaris. How far is Dhulagor from Kol?

I think I was guilty of being "late" - since the convoy started after my arrival. But honestly I had no idea that I was holding up others and people would be waiting for me and that too near Nicco Park. I thought SEP was the place where we would meet. In fact I almost went via VIP Road but later changed plans and took the Nicco Park route to show the so called "US-job-snatcher" call centers to my American friend.
So I am sorry about this unintended hold up.

Heck don't take it onto yourself. It was a general statement. For that matter even the shaker turned up a few moments before you did!

Abhi
Abhijit, the elantra pic was our "raid de Rajarhat" (!!) meet in Dec 2006.

As far as Shuvd and Optra/Civic connection, there were quite a few in the past, like an Ikon, the Elantra you see on those pages and ofcourse the easily forgotten Magnum.
