Sorry for the late reply. Have been sleeping all day.

Akroy, that is the exact amount I paid which is 650/-. 500 at the beginning and 150 was collected at the end.

650 or 750? if it is 650 then you need to pay one more Rs 100 which we didnot collect from you. Isnt it? Anyway, you need to then pay me Rs 60.

Ok, since not all members who were here might turn up for the next meet

I think my post clearly sums up everything. Also the xls file which I sent you this morning was pretty clear.
Anyway, You and redliner settle it among yourself.

Definitely not. These issues should be discussed here so that future meets dont have any such problems.
Infact I would like tbhpians from other cities to join the discussion, so that we know as to how they calculate amounts per head when such meets happen in their cities.
may be they'll learn from us or we learn from them as to
how-to-arrive-at/how-not-to-arrive-at amount per head on such occasions.
No offense meant to mjothi or akroy

There used to be a time when meets used to be so simple. Everybody would pay an equal share in the bill irrespective of whether they drink or not and eat non-veg or not. Why can't we just have such a simple formula? What is the need to create all this confusion? If anybody has a problem with such meets, then they need not attend it.

I'm sure this meet is showing us, the Bangalore folks, in very poor light to the other BHPians.

PS: I wanted to stay off this topic but after having seen what all has happened on this thread I just could not keep quiet. If anybody is offended by what I have said then they have a real problem, which incidentally is not my problem.

+ 1 to this.
That's how most of my friends circle meet also calculates. The meets are for being a part of the fun and togetherness.

Seems like we have three fronts - 1st front is the drinkers, 2nd front is the eaters, and the 3rd front is the onlookers/casual visitors. And at the end of the event we try for all coalitions when it comes to the bills

Bob, this was not the issue. Something else was.

P.S. Am calling you Bob in deference to your signature.
