Nah that's different. Dual action here stands for cleaning and polishing.

I've been wanting to use M21 for the 3+ years! Nirmal told me earlier that he's getting some stock, so why not get some :D Wolfgang is something again I wanted to try after reading many reviews

M21 is great for the price from whatever Ive seen in the photos of his work.
Ive the WGDPS currently. Lasts long, really long. Mine is still going strong since March even till this day. And really tough to get it off unless you compound of course.
Is the DA cleaner polish same as paint reconditioning creme?
Hopefully you should love super degreaser.
Your shopping list now makes me want to go get some more stuff :p need to get some more compound. Can we use DA polish after 105?? Or only 205/UP?

This is what I got after using Megs APC, Megs Super Degreaser, Megs Hyper dresser, Clay bar procured from Notorious, Megs Speed Glaze and Wolfgang's deep gloss sealant. The car is 13 months old.

Its different. PRC is a one step which has wax in it as well.

DACP is in between 105 and 205. I've finished all heavy compounding on my car; wont be needing 105 strenght anymore so opted something bit milder. I'll try it on the weekend and report back!
Got impatient and tried M21 today :D
Before:
After. Notice the difference? Suddenly I see more depth, reflections are much more clear
Zoom in. I honestly did not expect this level of depth from M21
Tried on the hood, bad pic but came out super fantastic :D

SP road is your best bet. I dont have any plug in my basement. So have dropped a custom extension wire from my room to the basement. You can try that.
Pressure generated wont be much, but you'll have to do a lot of pumping. |
Thanks Partha, unfortunately dropping an extn is not an option and well anyways i wont have running power supply - appt association will start cribbing
I am thinking of the below product

I know pressure will not be much (what can you expect from 12v) but its ok I guess for pre cleaning. Really wish there was some DIY car wash near Marathahalli area with reasonable charges

Car is looking great. How was the clay from Notorious? Im still to use mine soon enough.
A bit of compounding will give an even more depth of gloss. The car looks fantastic even now.

Although not so apparent in gloss, but you can see a gain in the depth. Did you clay it before M21??
M21 is a great sealant for that price range, and those who dont expect much durability.
Whats the curing time for this, ive heard its very short and you can top it off very quickly?? Is it right? Or again a 12-24hr curing time?
Btw yesterday, Richard Lin posted some pics of how Opti-Coat repelled bird poop on its own and in 7 days it was gone without using any wash solutions. Holy cow, ive not heard any other coating doing that. This is amazing and will probably go on my car, at year end.

Na its better to spend that money on cleaning products rather than a machine which will be unreliable. It wont suck water from the bucket also, and generate the same pressure if you were to connect a hose to your basement's tap - in fact your tap will produce mkre prssure than this.
You can get pressure sprayer like the ones used in shell pumps. Most of thw car you can do onr wash and in cases of heavy dirt, you can spray water with this sprayer and clean that area. Ive cleaned 2 day old bird poop with that easily. Wont cost more than 300-400 bucks. Just need good wash solutions to get all the gunk off.

I eagerly look this thread on all Mondays. The reason is simple - I am sure that many DIY detailing related will be there. You have done a fabulous job.

Yups that's another option I am looking into, the shell petrol pump manual pressure washers are 1-2 ltrs, what I am looking for is 8-10 ltr manual pressure washer- not yet found any place in blore to get them , will check some agricultural equipment dealers around Whitefield/Marathahalli

You need to look for those bigger pressure sprayers on SP road. In the agricultural/hardware shops. About a 1000 bucks.

Wipe with damp cloth and put M21. no prep or strip.

Not sure...I'm gonna put M21 on whole car now, then put M26 in the morning :D thats the perfect combo!
Daytime shot of hood. Looked better in person, stupid phone cam:
Finally upgraded the alloys. Gave them 2 coats of FK1000P couple of weeks ago, need to maintain them from now on.

I saw Sunny's car today and I can tell you it looks FANTASTIC! I suddenly had this urge to paint my white car yellow!

Should have gonr with opti coat or cquartz for the alloys. Less headache.
The M21 looks as good as the carnauba'd car pics you posted earlier. I hope i can make my car look as good as yours someday.
M26 on top of M21. I rest my case :D
Hood with M26:
All my wheels get a taste of M21 :D
