never mind those, I re-sized the pictures in a program which kept giving me errors messages and the pics were saved with those white patches.

Anyway, The water beading of the liquid wax is amazing, I drove in a heavy rain and the water drops just slips of the surface.

This product is meant to be used on dirty/dusty car which i didn't want to use on my unwashed car fearing swirl marks, So i washed the car, dried it and sprayed this product, After a few minutes i removed the product with a microfiber cloth and the results were fantastic, The surface felt like it has been waxed with a high quality wax and the shine is brilliant too. Poured a lil' water on the surface to test water beading and i said WOW! water just glided down.

I also sprayed this product on a dusty/dirty part near the bumper, wiped with a microfiber cloth and the dirt was removed with an amazing shine without any swirl marks. Though i don't recommend this method.

This product is highly recommend for lazy people who don't wax their car often

I also bought a bottle of liquid wax which i will try in the morning and share my reviews. Thank you stefanm for recommending me abel auto products.
Akshay,

i am using F-1 wax...finding it little hard to the entire polishing. i would have sweated like i was on the tread mill, by the end of the waxing job.

This abel thing seems to be a welcome remedy....would you mind telling me where to buy these please?

Is it worth 840Rs. or any better ones out there?
I use this product. It is very nice. It actually adds another layer of protective film. Best used with a synthetic wax though.

Use it after you've waxed with a synthetic wax. Meguiar's own TechWax is a synthetic wax. Any product which doesn't use natural carnauba is synthetic, obviously. They have their advantages and disadvantages.

As for where to get it, why don't you check Meguiar's India website?

I find f1 wax too abrasive and harsh, I bought the abel auto liquid wax from a xenos dealer here in bangalore, Unfortunately, that was the last piece and the new stock are not coming soon, Try contacting xenos galleria chennai on 044-32970660, Contact person Mr.Subramainan, He will ship abel auto products free of charge. For any other abel auto products, Call 9980004566 Mr.Arun, Xenos Bangalore.

That's really good, I'll pick up a bottle after my abel auto detailer gets over.

This works out the same as the abel stuff for 500ml, i have a bottle of the 3m stuff to try, after using the abel nothing comes close in that price range and 500ml will last me at least 12 months, if not more, after 3.5 weeks my car is still gleaming, needs a wash though might give the 3m stuff a try next time i wax, need to have options, in Mumbai the Abel stuff is everywhere in Milan subway and Opera house, not seen a single bottle in Goa as yet, plenty of Xenos dealers here though. I find the Meguires stuff too steep in cost in India and I'm more than happy after 3.5 weeks with the abel stuff...Now i need some tyre gel, any recomendations to what is comonnly available?

Nice pics Akshay, I'm glad you're happy with the product!

Cheers,

Stefan

3M seems to be good, never heard anyone recommending it though, Anyway, the abel auto wax is just brilliant, I compared it side-by-side with f1's wax and the abel auto outperformed f1 by huge margin! Abel auto liquid wax added color depth to the paint and also provided shine and smoothness, Where as the f1 wax just added smoothness and a little shine. Drove in the rain and the entire car repelled water like anything.
Meguiar's is quite costly but they have nice products compared to turtle wax or any other reputed brands.

About the tire shine, You can try waxpol's tire shine spray for 175Rs or abel auto's own tire dresser,

* Professional formula.
* Easy to apply for deep black wet look tyres.
* Long lasting tyre shine. "

The abel stuff is not available in Goa as far as i know, i picked it up from Bombay, as my wife is still in Bombay for a few days, i try to get her to pick it up so i can give it a try, after trying their liquid wax i feel somewhat confident, I don't trust the waxpol stuff after using their dasboard polish and having some guys make a mess with their exterior stuff on my plastics, have seen the f1 eagle tyre foam here, but in my experience i find tyre gel better, will have to see, i saw some tyre gel here which was about Rs650 for a bottle, can't remember the brand though, will check it out again tomorrow if i get a chance.

I spent about 3 hours over the last weekend polishing both my cars with 3M liquid wax. The results are good. This product leaves a nice glossy glaze on the cars. The finish is more than just a gloss or wet look it really looks like the surface is glazed (like porcelain) and water just runs off. This is one of the best products around.

I have used this wax years ago and it lasts between 1 and 3 months depending on running, usage, washing etc.

It is really easy to apply and polish. One trick is to use a moist rag to apply and slightly damp soft cloth to buff (polish).

Cheers,
