cheers!!!

PS: The only difference is that mine are red, so don't go lookin' for red calipers!!!!!

Great Car dude!!

One recommendation though.... Get a better (and slighly smaller) number plate...

Trust me, it will enhance the look of the vehicle...

You Are Living My Dream!

Edmund, you are one lucky soul to have done what you have done!

Have been reading up this thread for almost two days now (in between work of course hehehe), and the love and dedication is all too obvious. Congratulations man, that's one sweet ride!

I, too, have always loved this model (SS80 is it??) of the 800. IMHO, the later ones look too domesticated. To own a fully restored beauty would be THE dream. Have even eyed a couple of these near my place (They were in serious need of attentioan). Am waiting for the Green God to smile down upon me though! If he does, and when he does, could I request for your help and guidance? It would be invaluable, to say the least...

And yeah, few suggestions...

Given that your babe is that shade of blue, those alloys would look sooper in Gold, ala Subaru Impreza.

The bumper need to be extended a bit further down. Presently the bodywork below gives it an umm... unfinished sort of raw look (IMHO)

But all in all, a sweet, sweet ride

@Nitronium/Brabus: Thanks man, appreciated.......... need a nice new set of rims soon!

@Blur: Yes, it is an SS80. And if i were to change the bumpers it wouldn't look the same, i love the original bodyline, and if the car was made with a little suspension/internals showing then so be it! Ping me when you get a car, ill be glad to help!

Did you get the ORVMs you were searching for?

I happened to catch an old episode of Top Gear yesterday (Season 1 - Ep. 2!) where they featured this Ford RS1800. Had ORVMs that came close to the SS80. I think you should check them out.
