Is it just me,....the mentioned of a female test driver is one of things that makes me go HMMMMMmmmmm!! In more ways than One.

Probably got enough content to start a thread by itself, as the world of auto-enthusiasts is so full of guys,..a mention of one from the other sex is truely challenging & inspiring in a totally new light !! What say Cheers !

To tell you the truth, the Verna arrives in 4 days. And I want the lancer to be so beautiful, that the Verna gets a complex

One more thing, I contemplated for a while. I was going to splurge on alloy wheels for the verna, but realised that my "special" ride was the Lancer. When I have a special ride, why would I spend on the verna, which is my daily horse to work?

So the alloy wheel money will go into beautifying this:

Sam the pics are really nice. A few things from the pic. Do you like the chrome grill? i prefer the body coloured one.

Then you could add the chrome tip to the exhaust silencer costs Rs.500. Also if you look down at the silencer you will notice rust. It's a black painted silencer but over time turns brown and begins to rust. I generally get it painted every once in a while.

actualy, i think the answers were different baceuse in the us, servicing a car means so give it a treatment simlar to what sam is doing now, that can be extended quite a while but the other person might be reffering to just changing the oil and some other small things.

Also Sam just noticed your door handles & mirrors are black. Please get them painted in the body colour & it'll look much nicer since they stand out like a sore right now!

Oh GOD Ishan!!

I hate the lancer that looks like it's fallen into a tub of red paint. The Lancer GLi was not sold in Red and Yellow, only the SLXi.

I therefore had a custom built lancer GLi, with the addition of power windows and steering and central locking. I specifically requested for black handles and mirrors.
If you look at it correctly, the lancer has better defined body lines as the black handles and mirror break the red monotony. That's why most people think my lancer has better poise, not realising that you don't normally get red lancers with black handles. At the time of purchase, mine was the only red lancer in India with black handles/mirrors and no spoiler.

And all you have to say to that is, get the handles painted red????? Laanat on top of you!!
