Hi Wildon,

I have finally got the following VIN from the dealer: MAKGM264KANxxxxxx.

I have decoded this to be a Honda City Automatic Transmission manufactured in October 2010 using your methodology. Please advice if I have got this correct.

The only thing that I see new is the 4 in the place of the grade. Till date I have only seen 1-3 in that place. This I guess would be the code for the Limited Edition as I had booked the same.

Also, would it be possible for you to generate the 'full report' using the above VIN?

The showroom guys did not call us for PDI and on asking for it, they said they have done PDI and they gave us this Chasis no.
Can you please tell me from which portion you have decoded the variant? I want to reconfirm it by personally visiting the stock yard tomorrow morning. It will be of great help if you advise me how to check the variant from the Chasis no.

As per the info available for me its ERA.

I just checked up the Hyundai i10 features in Hyundai website and its written that 1.1iRDE2 available in only 2 variants that is DLite and ERA.

Team-BHP always recommends to do a PDI by yourself.

The5th Character in VIN represents variants. But it wont show the variant name as Hyundai uses variant codes. please look at here for understanding that in detail.

Its always better to personally visit the stock yard to make sure that everything is alright.
