Hello Mates, wanted to know if anyone has used it in Swift Diesel and how much better is the performance of the car compared to stock, also my car has done more than a lakh of Kms, is it advisable to use it? Will it have any adverse affect on the engine/injector or related components? Thanks in advance

i had installed this unit on my figo tdci at the fag ending of warranty..
Advantages of this unit :
1) more linear power surge
2) Visibile increase in pick up and power
3) If you wanna DRAG, this unit helps you deliver..time to top speed reduced
4) Faded Turbo lag , esp for figo in second gear

Mid range Torque and power have been modified to good effect without altering the overall TOP speed.The top speed more or less remains the same.
The advantage here is the MAX boost pressure of Turbo is not exceeded which inturn helps in retaining the stock intercooler.

From what I saw of engine perf curves extracted for another figo on the dyno
Stock mode 68 BHP
P1 mode had power increased from 68 to 76 hp
P2 mode had power increased from 68 to 83 hp

Recommendation : RD kit + KN filter or any other free flow Air filter would def have a marked response over just the RD kit < as per RD team >

PERCEIVED disadvantages :

1) More power generated by burning extra fuel....may be need of better engine oil to remove possibly the extra heat.
Nothing more I could think of.

apart from all this , pls analyse the need to put this kit,
For me : simple performance enhancement , not too much, but just enough to keep up with the big boys

I had the rd kit on my swift ddis. Superb response, improved pickup, minimal to no impact on mileage . No issues at all.
