U can get the same ones as per the link. These are the ones I got and though it is not very good quality, the mirror itself has excellent coverage. Not a direct fit but will fit with slight mods. Cheers

In mumbai after i got my second service done for my fl laura, they changed the oil to mobil 1, they claim its better then shell :) different skoda dealers recommend different oil?

Wipers do need to be replaced. The ASC charges around 1400 for a pair. Outside, I found them to be around 900 or so.

I am considering Yokohama DB and Conti CPC2. I recently put Michelin PLC on the E and though they are good tires in terms of grip, I found them to be soft for our beautiful roads. Mine has done close to 38k, need to change tires anytime now.

I had gone for a wedding and left the car for 15 days; came back to see that the battery had drained and the car did not start. Now my car is just about 3 years old, and Skoda service guy is telling me to change the battery as it's 3 years now and after every 3 years you should change the battery. Also, I am sure I did not leave any lights on when I left.

Just wanted to know if this is true or should I just give my battery for a recharge ?

Just get your battery checked, in most probabilities you will have to get it replaced.

Yes, recharge should bring it back - at least some of it.

Even otherwise, 3 years is quite OK. You know the stuff about the Laura right - any gadget left ON while switching off the car can sip the battery + the new Laura's have the feature that the radiator fan can switch on and run for upto 10 min even while engine is switched off - to enhance cooling of the engine and the turbo.

Thanks guys, will get the battery checked by the battery dealer, though will mostly be replacing it. The only reason I was skeptical was because in my other cars I replaced the battery only after 4+ years.

Anyways, any good brand I should consider for a replacement?

Dude, that feature that turns the headlights on when you unlock the car (or was it the other way around - I cant remember), I'm sure that too helps to drain the battery faster than your other cars.
