Quick comparision with ex showroom price list Pune.

I got the price list in last month, following is the difference with updated site price list. Looks like VX and GX version reduced by around 30 K

Missed the start. It's clear enough, but his English certainly isn't the best.

9.95L base LX is too high.

Poor launch & presentation.

I suspect an Aria like future.

Killer pricing by Tata. LX starts at 10.5 lacs ex showroom, VX 4x4 at 13.5lac ex showroom
Almost similar to the outgoing model. If quality is good, a serious threat to the MUVísh XUV500....

The higher variants are priced competitively. The base variant is definitely priced very high. The price is ex showroom Delhi. This will cross 10L in other cities for sure
In Bangalore, even the base variant would cross 11.5L on road. This is the variant that would drive major sales numbers and Tata has goofed up on pricing yet again.

Thank you all, the pricing appears good at the moment (aria effect), though I need to check the specs & TBHP review before I can confirm the same.

re: Tata Safari Storme : Test Drive and Review. More pics: pg 47

Prices have come out and its quite subjective. Considering the increase in sales of cars 15L+ i THINK Storme might do decent. 13.67 ex showroom means we can consider around 15.5L on road price.

And with the new improved turning radius & offering safety features in base LX variant too will attract a lot of buyers. One thing that I didn't like was 4x4 only in VX. Come on TATA, you could have done better; but i think they didn't want in house competition.

Lets hope the TD / Demo cars reach the dealers soon.

Also, whats with the Launch / speaker & event planning? samsung S3 launch was better laid and planned than this.

Regards,

Pricing wise - The top end Variants looks quite OK, but the LX is waaayyy to high IMO
Agree that LX now has ABS, but I feel that it is still slightly steep !!

Must say a very boring launch, and i wonder who planned this event the presenter had to ask couple of times to switch all the lights "on" post arrival of Storme on stage...
