Yes it is normal.
Low key FOB battery warning will come on the MID:
I need to change tires on my 1st gen Creta SX Diesel AT. Standard OEM tires Goodyear Assurance served me well for almost 4 years (60K). The car came shod with 205/65/16. I am thinking of going with either Michelin LTX Force or Michelin Primacy SUV (size 215/65/16). The price for both tires is almost same.
Would appreciate your thoughts on these tires, or if you have other suggestion.
The request sensor on the driver's door isn't working. Any quick fixes?

When this happened with me, I took the car to the service center and they replaced it under warranty. They didnt have it with them initially. They had to place an order for it and then they called me back in a couple of days to get it replaced. Fixing took barely an hour or two if I remember right.

For me they just replaced the entire handle when it stopped working. They will replace this under warranty.

I have changed my OEM Goodyear tyres to Yokohama Blue Earth AE50 -215/60R16 after 60000kms. Yokohama have run around 5000kms.
Yokos are performing far better than the OEM tyres. Tyre locking under hard braking has almost disappeared. High Speed stability and cornering has improved too.
As ground clearance of the Creta is sufficient you will not get any better result by maintaining the same profile with an upsized tyre.

It costs around 4.5k for Elite i20 so it must be same even for Creta. I guess its a known problem among Hyundai cars because they replaced the whole handle in my dad's Elite i20 free of cost even though the car is out of warranty.

When my tires were worn out, during a spirited launch/pickup, I used to notice loss of traction and the traction light used to show up on the MID. This was expected as the tires had less grip (especially when it was on gravel/sand etc).
Few weeks back, I started noticing this traction light being lit when I take a quick U turn (no loss in traction). This doesn't come always.
Couple of days back when I started the car, the traction control and ABS light was lit for around 30 secs. Happened only once.
The car is running on a new set bought couple of months back. Kindly advise.
Has anyone managed to install android auto & carplay in a October 2016 or earlier Creta?
Can any Creta Petrol Automatic owners tell me if the SX variant goes back on steep inclines as it is not equipped with hill assist?

I have a diesel AT and it doesn't rollback. The creep function either pushes it forward slowly or keeps it standstill.
Hey guys, I wanted to check what procedure due you follow for a cold start (specifically Diesel engines) With my previous NA petrol vehicle, I used to idle it up for 2mins before engaging but is it needed with modern-day engines? What I currently do is warm it up for 10-12 seconds and then take off but keep the RPM below 2000 for the first 2-3kms so that the engine warms up nicely without idling.

Idling for 1 minute after startup and before shutdown is the advisable thing to do. The former is something which is debatable, but the latter is extremely important for the extended life of your turbo.
The Creta does have a temp gauge, so just keep the revs below 2000rpm until it hits 90 degrees, similar to what you are doing. No precautions are needed otherwise.
Creta Petrol is a NA engine. Just 10-15 secs of start up idling is enough, while you manage your seat belt, Bluetooth, ORVMs etc
