My first test drive included parking in my basement car park which included two tight S-curves. Passed with flying colours, I am a proud owner of a light gold safari LX almost 3000 kms old and waiting for its first 250-km highway drive this weekend.

Thought you guys knew me.

Why would I settle for beige or gold after owning the bling bling black beauty?

Well we wouldn't want a repeat of
"Beauty and the beast" right? Once was enough
Now don't worry about us and go get yourself a nice Passion Red Safari.

[quote=speedmiester;509716]Good choice samurai, except that do not try to attempt the stunts they show in the safari ad. Potholes are ok, not the jumps.
In the ad where the safari is jumping the chasis broke on impact of landing. It was driven by vikram mathias.

that was the safari petrol ad...not the dicor.
the safari petrol exi had a twisted chassis after the jump, done for the ad

There were few problems and all been sorted out. Nothing to do with his post numbers guys.

Now let's get back to the topic.

So I still remain as a BHPian :-)

Actually it is a lean period now. According to local tradition, the time between mid-July to mid-August is considered very inauspicious, nobody buys a car in this period. I am not superstitious, but the family members will be very concerned. So, I have to hold on until then. But I can book and decide on the customizations.

I am considering Passion Red Tata Safari EX 4x4 with 255/65R16 (but which one?) on 16x7.5 alloys and 18+30 months warranty. Does anyone know whether the stock HU supports MP3, if it does I don't have to upgrade the ICE I suppose.
