Honda City 1.5 S-AT / Home Today

Finally after 60 days of waiting my beauty finally came home.

Kisses to the outgoing beauty, my 1.5 Gxi CVT, she will still be close by, in the hands of a family friend.

She is hot. None of the cars in this bracket can match her in road presence.

After doing the traditional puja, she is ready to take on the road.

On road price in Mumbai is 10,45,366. It is steep and in Cedia and Civic/Corolla territory but me thinks Honda will do a rethink on this issue especially in this market.

Went for the Elegance package for Rs. 24942/-, again steep but I believe in getting genuine accessories even though I am getting ripped off in the process. The peace of mind is worth it believe me.
Best part of the elegance package is the Side Step garnish which shines a beautiful electric blue at night.(I know there are cheaper options but with wire cuts/hence warranty issues)

Will post details of the interiors, driving experience, FE later. Till then let me enjoy her.

Congrats, thats one hottie, Hope you enjoy the paddle shift. Waiting for the feedback on the paddle shift and how it feels in traffic or otherwise daily commute and parking. According to Mr. Clarkson paddle shift is a nuisance for parking, well I wonder why doesn't he shift to fully auto mode while parking ? Waiting for you to share your experiences with the paddle shift. Enjoy the ride.

Congrats for your purchase. Do post the ownership reviews too. Though you got it for 10.5 OTR, i think HONDA wont reduce the prices as there are still many takers even at this price !

Btw, how old was your earlier car in terms of Kms usage ? Coz it looks very beautifully maintained as seen from the front angle ! The bumper is scratchless and the bonnet is still shining as if its a new car !

Honda will have to give stuff free then, cause the market is too slow these days.

My old car was an April 07 model, run for 17000 kms.

Bumper is scratchless because it is 2 months old, thanks to a small one night stand with a truck.

Here she is after the accident. Had to put a new bumper, headlamp/left and left quarter panel..

Congrats! Once an AT fan always an AT fan, eh? You must have really enjoyed your CVT experience.

The prices are really steep. I'm not too sure about price cuts. Honda is actually talking about price hikes on it's other cars.
