oh yeah - its just a small plastic cover. Not a very sturdy one too.

See the pics - the black plastic cover (marked in red) is what they claim as added in 09 models. You can see that there is till an open slot in the middle. At least better than leaving it fully open. Maybe we should wait for anniversary edition for Honda to give a full cover

excuse the poor quality pic, its form my mobile.

Meer, i considered it, but dropped it for the following reasons:
  • Honda says any size changes would void suspension a warranty
  • Might impact handling (and i already feel it cant carve a corner like my palio)
  • All those speedo, odo recalibration involved
Yes, will keep updating this thread at regular intervals.

Right the black ones are additon to '09.

Very strange, not sure when Honda started these acts , this looks so very odd, the '08 additon of ANHC didnt had any, '09 additon has partial, cant understand how much extra would this had cost to Honda if they would have created a full cover or is it something related to manifold designs which they have down there.

I think you are right we should wait for the anniversary editon, 11th anniversary it will be then

HONDA, we are waiting for the 11th Happy Anniversary.

Buddy any plans of adding the Chrome grille from Honda , i know its costs a bomb ( 13k) , but this color would look better with chrome grille and chrome handles. Just my opinion.

The Sales guy handed me a accessories list and pricing - and i was thankful for all those treadmill hours. Probably the only thing that kept me away from getting a heart attack!

does anybody have confirmed news that the ANHC prices are going to increase from April? Or is it just dealer speak?

hey can you confirm if you got parking sensors fitted from honda dealer. As any after market accessories void the warrenty.
I have checked the price list of Honda dealer and it quotes about 23 K for parking sensors.

I am going in for EMT, with 20K package consisting of body coloured Rear view mirrors and handles, Cobra central locking and Kenwood 543U with 4 speakers. So, I get to save 30K in comparison to SMT (though, i will not get steering mounted controls). I am happy to save 30K for some other accessories.

Its not dealer speak. There was an announcement form Honda. City & Civic prices are effective from April, Accord & CRV are effective now.

yes, its fitted by by the dealer. The 23K one would have a camera display. The ones with sound and sensor display would be under 7K.

7K is still robbery. The four sensor rear-only one I fit for the Civic cost somewhere around the 3K mark IIRC.

there are many versions of it Immortalz. The four sensor ones with beeps start at around 2K. The midtier ones comes with six sensors (4 in back and 2 in front) and central mounted LCD distance display plus voice warning. They are around 7K. The top of the line models come with camera displays all over and cost 22K. All versions were avilable at the dealer.

I know. I wouldn't suggest the one with the sensor in the front - it becomes an annoyance and is deactivated by everyone who buys it (at least, at our dealer). The one with the camera, well, that kind of money is better spent on ICE, or even petrol IMHO.

Agree on the camera part. The front sensors are useful - especially for a city like Bangalore - especially around some congested malls, where most parking slots seem to be made to accommodate only hatches. Most of my colleagues who uses them are quite happy with it - and i am too, so far.

I guess it depends on your use case. If you don't miss it - then probably you don't need it
