Why? The Getz is available abroad virtually unchanged. It's not a very uncommon car in Europe.

Even if the rotors are different, cant it be fixed onto the Indian Getz? What other difference could there be.

Bigger rotors could be bigger calipers as well. Might be a good idea to get the whole brake kit down if its different. Not sure what the PCD, bolt pattern of the Getz's abroad are. Time to do some hunting. But suspension upgrades are available for the Getz. Me thinks, its better to get one.

Only to find that the entry tax is 4% or roughly about 20000 INR more. But what the heck instead of spending the equivalent money on a Swift or Ritz diesel, the getz is a far better buy!!

Read that entry tax on cars is completely abolished in Karnataka. In TN only certain commodities are exempt :(

I am bit disappointed with neovas.

Hard breaking at 120kmph on dry roads locked the wheels.
Hard breaking at 50kmph in wet road condition locked the wheels.

I guess now i need to run only on slicks or i dont know which tyre to upgrade.

What psi were the tyres inflated too!!

I have taken the right hander on the way to the new airport terminal at around 125+kph with AD-07's doing their duty, the car turned in easily without any fuss and squeal. I guess it's time for you to do something about your suspension as well. Maybe that could be one of the reasons why you experienced this!

Hope you find a quick solution to your problem..

Cheers
Shrey

Tyres were inflated to 30psi.

I did not face problems while cornering but breaking in straight lines in such low speeds.

Surprising. The S.Drives behaved for most part- had a 1400 KM drive to Mudigere

The only surface I was not confident on braking is broken or rough tarmac/ where there was sand. I kinda felt for sure that the wheels will lock and skid on such surfaces, but the couple of tense moments on clean tarmac where a no-brainer- it hit a brick and stopped.

@ph03n!x - Have you tried jamming the brakes at 120kmph on your s-drives on straight line good roads?

Let us know your experience.

Rajeev from my experience driving the baleno, yes the wheels do lock at those speeds . However the car looses its straight line trajectory by a margin. I used to love the way the S-drives would behave on wet roads.
