I'd recommend anything between 1, 4, 5 and 6. Personally i like the gold one. If i were to buy a car now, it would be white or black, with golden rims on them.

go for exact PCD . and better go for Stronger alloys.

heard that the Aura ones are pretty well suited for indian road conditions.

so whats the pcd of the wheels?

and what size 14 or 15 ?

14 would be more comfortable compared to 15 but controll in 15 will be better compared to 14.

so make your choice and then go for tyre /alloy hunting. in case of 15 inchers you would have to buy a set of 5, in 14 inch case i guess set of 4 would be enough.

dont go for looks only. go for durable ones. one high speed jump over a pothole and alloys might get bend. its very much possible and i have seen it with the non aura ones. yet to come cross an aura alloy which has got bent due to high speed riding.

anyways keep us guys posted. ok

Ah! Sorry Nikhil. Got confused with the PCD of the fiesta to the getz's. My bad, thanks for correcting me though.

Hehe... No worries!

Actually, even Fiesta is relatively easy. Lenso, etc, make it in 108 PCD also. 98 PCD is a pain in the you-know-where though. I feel bad for people buying Fiat cars with steel rims as getting a good quality 98PCD rim is next to impossible.

I was on the look out for some alloys for a friends fiesta around 2yrs back and no one except Anil had any good designs. Things must have changed since then.

You get them in truck loads Thomas. 100 PCD rims are the most common ones available across this country.

Sorry for the late wishes Raj, but Congratulations! You're buying one of the quickest (if not THE quickest) hatches in the country!

Advan is good but harsh, high road noise and high wear rates.

Keep me in the loop, I might need some too.

Its going to be tough, I checked the existing location (under the battery) and there seems to be no space to mount a bigger unit unless we fiddle around with the pumbling.

I'm personally planning to go in for 195/55 in Neova's for my car.

Drilling stock brakes is suicidal. I would rather drive slow then take that risk.

Its all about driver skill, none of the competition cars ever have ABS but that doesn't mean its useless. Its just that if the driver is good enough and can handle panic situations even without ABS. But for the layman it is a very big advantage.

Doesn't mean that the ABS is the end all of all problems. On loose surfaces it has its own set of problems that one needs to tackle.

Getz wheels are 100 PCD and in 14" there aren't many designs available as it is in 15".
Fiat wheels are 98PCD and only Aura has couple of designs with that PCD.

Both have 100 PCD. So, getting alloys for them is not an issue at all. Both are 4 hole 100 PCD.

Why in the world would anyone want to change it?

Nikhil
I think he wanted to ask if the wheels of Swift and Getz can be swapped or not?!.

Anyways the posts on this thread are getting way too off topic.

I had decided to do it, but when i have so many friends to advice me i will not go wrong with my mods. That is one of the reason why i am posting each and every simple mod and doing it.

@mjkaushal - There is one second hand black getz crdi available, PM me if interested.
