My 15" Lensos and the tyres are ready !!!!!

But I still continue to dream for mine. Hoping to get it before this month end . The full range of ICE would be ready by then..

I plan to add the Petes dabba may be after 10k Kms. Is it advisable to go for 195/55/15 or the 205/50/15 ??

I need some suggestions from the getz gurus .

I remember him telling me that he picked up the AD-07's on Saturday and that he would be getting the rims fitted on Sunday morning. This was when he was waiting for his car to arrive from the stock yard. I am guessing the car couldn't be registered on Saturday and should be done by today evening I guess? So alloys will go in tomorrow? Doubt the RTO will register the car with aftermarket rims & tires.

I would say stick to 195's. What tires are you planning to buy? A lot depends on that.

I like the colour. Simple and elegant. It deceives the real character of the car.

Congrats once again friend. I am sure you would keep us updated as you clock more miles.

Things have changed, No need to take the car to RTO office for registration and they are issuing RC cards instead of RC book.
This Info is from the dealer.

Freebees

- Sun film
- Mats
- Teflon coating
- Mud flaps

Installed

- Advan Neovas 195/60/14
- SSW - s094 alloys (Stamford Sport Wheels)

Love the smell of new car and as adviced, i am driving in the range 2000-3000rpm.

Tyres

- car became a bit sliggish
- look of car has totally changed due to wider tyres.
- Can feel each and every pot holes, should agree that side walls are hard in neovas.
- Steering wheel is bit tighter.

Cant comment on high speed performance of neovas as i am still running in.

Alloys

- I was in love with SSW s109 but as there was no stock i had to go for s094.
- After seeing s094 in real decided to install it as it had 10 spokes 14" 6j rims.
- I am happy that they didnt use after market lugnut as they tend to rust very easily.

Now let the Picture do the talking.

Raj,
Are you planning for:
1. 3M coating for the paint
2. 3M under chassis coat
3. 3M engine area laquering

I recommend you do these if you are planning to keep the car for a long time to come . Have done all these in my car.

And which saturday are you planning for the long drive? I am in whenever it is :P

I am inclined for the 195/55/15 from Yoko S-drives or the Maxxis. Also looking at Hankook Ventus. All are in the 3.5 to 4 K price bracket . Really need all the suggestions and feedback.

BBraj:

I hope with 195's , it does'nt become too sluggish . Sluggish could be a relative term. With this upsize, what would be the mileage drop ? I drive about 70 kms a day on average.

BTW, your car looks a stunner with the upsize !!

Simple & Elegant .
