Hey Nikhil,
Congrats on your new purchase. Have been waiting for your post since you had mentioned that you would be getting the car on Aug 25.

1 point is that the fog lamps do NOT get switched on automatically when putting on the parking lights. You need to turn the middle ring on the lever for that (that's for the rear fog lights). For the front fog lights, there is a switch to the extreme right below the dash - next to the headlight adjustment thingy. If that is ON then the fog lamps will switch on automatically when you switch on parking lights. Maybe that is the case.

The racing green colour really looks cool. Do upload some more pics specially from front.

Are you planning on getting seat covers or any other accessories?

Let me know how the mulshi trip pans out. I haven't gone on a long drive yet. Plan to do that after the 1st servicing.

Hi Nikhil,

Congrats on the purchase. I too purchased a Ritz but a Vxi and the same Racing Green. Have driven about 500kms and the vehicle has handled very well. It is an excellent car.

I have to check the FE still, did a tank full with Shell normal.

Thanks. I will check out whether that switch is ON.

I will update the thread with details of my Mulshi trip with pictures.

Comfortably Numb
After setting up values for bass, treble and the fader, it sounds fantastic.

I felt the engine to be a bit sluggish @ around 1000 ~ 1100 rpm mark, but once past 1500 rpm, the KB engine pulls effortlessly. Owners please comment. The suspension is very good and absorbs the bumps easily. Cabin insulation is also good, but could have been better.

FE:-
Too early to comment. The initial 15 litres or so that I put in were consumed me getting used to the car and vice versa. I have tanked up the car with 40 litres of normal IOC petrol and then will be in a better position to comment. I regularly fill at Patel Petroleums on Bibwewadi Lullanagar road which is near to my residence. Till now I have clocked @ 250 kms. Planning to take Fat Bottom out of town next weekend probably to Mulshi to enjoy.

Nikhil
Nice Car and nice color. Congrats!

Nikhil, Is the integrated music system by Kenwood. I believe its from Nippon and not Kenwood. It looks the same what Swift also has. Correct me if I am wrong.

Do you find the Lullanagar petrol pump good? I have had a few issues with him in the past after which I stopped filling there.

Congrats Nikhil, the car is strikingly good, never seen it before, good choice of colour. Mulshi is one damn good place to go especially during monsoon or just after monsoon. I think fat bottom deserves some cool pictures in the background of Mulshi. Drive safe and keep updating this thread.

Nice to see a fellow Floyd fan on the forum. :-) Congrats. The Ritz looks pretty good in this color. I have never seen it on the road.

Infact all Nikhil's close friends are die hard Pink Floyd and Jim Morission fans.
Infact we were the ones who really introduced Nikhil to this type of music in college days.

Nicks ,Thanks for giving us a test drive opportunity on your new Ritz.

Though I find the rear ride a bit stiff. Ain't as comfortable as the front.

Well!! you truely have a long drive experience with Comfortably numb pending with us .May be next week end to Bhor or where ever.
Great photos!!

Thanks. Since Nippon Audiotronics supplies Kenwood music systems, hence my guess. May be wrong though.

The IOC pump I am referring to is opposite the Gangadham, Gagan Vihar complexes. I have had no issues so far with this bunk.

Oops... My bad I thought you were talking about the HP petrol pump in Lullanagar, opposite Mount Carmel School. Haven't tried the IOC pump though. Will try next time. Does he stock normal unleaded fuel as many IOC pumps only stock premium fuel.
