Great write up and nice pics. Need tips on getting that superb FE. Welcome to the Linea club and enjoy the Italian beauty.
Thanks Pragmites. For FE, I am using the Instantaneous Consumption mode of trip computer. Once the car gathers momentum, driving with light foot to maintain acceleration shows IC hovering between 4l/100km to 6.5l/100km. This I think is a great input for a driver interested in maintaining better FE.

Thanks Satyam. Will surely post more snaps after I get the seats done.

I say it on every Linea thread and I will say here again.... Please get rid of those ugly mud flaps, they just spoil the looks of the car! Why can't Fiat have something more subtle, like the one's on SX4 and the Accent?
Thanks. E_T. You are right about mud flaps. I guess I will wait for something better to show up and be easily available.

But it's still a majestic color and gives the Linea a Royal look.
All the best and enjoy the admiration.
cheers!
Thanks GR. Well, I was surprised that Vocal White was available at all. Car is Jun batch and I have no complaints about it since it is in VW . Yes, paint matching is going to be tough. Keeping my fingers crossed.

1000 KM Update

Prior to buying Linea, I had gone through all Linea owners' threads and was aware of the usual problems commonly faced by all. Happy to report that none of those have occurred so far with my Linea.

The niggles I was most worried about were seat height adjustment and rattles from dashboard area. So far, seat height adjustment mechanism has held its own despite numerous height alterations. There are no rattles or squeaks as of now .

Nutnbolts..a wonderful review to read. More or less gone through similar situation when it came to deciding on a sedan and search through various CSD canteens.

Arriving at a gud colour put me into dilemma. My first linea was medium grey. I test drove Fleminco Red. I visited Concorde and Pernna Bangalore to see all colours. Every color looked impressive on Linea. Oops..more than the car selection, the colour selection put me into spin. I found CSD Chennai works out to be cheaper for guys deciding to take in southern region. I was told by Concorde Cennai that my car ( MJD Emo Pk - Perla Champagne ) is in transit. Eagerly waiting to drive this Italian beauty.

@Col KRK, Wait can be killing sir. Hope you get it fast. Yes, for people in Southern Region, CSD Chennai works out to be the cheapest.

Went to Kalady today. Some snaps.

Really nice pictures, especially the one you took in front of the billboard.
Wouldn't you have to take the car to Chandigarh for getting the registration from there ?

No, don't need to take the car there. It is "arranged".

Keen eye parimal. I was wondering if someone will actually notice. No, it was not a Honda ad.

But you've got no plates on , dude, hence the question.

Notice the Billboard ? Is it possible to miss such a huge thing? Though, did'nt think it was you and Photoshop. Nicely done.
