Please help!
You should check out "camera flash" fiesta of Bakiya's and just replicate the light system in your car.

I don't know what exactly is the difference wrt erstwhile offers.
Offers in Hyderabad,
1. For individuals(read as anyone): Fiesta Petrol, Discounts for ZXi and SXi --> Rs 60,000.00 on the on-road price. Exchange bonus for old car is Rs 10,000.00 and if the old car exchanged is a Ford car, one gets the 3rd year extended warranty worth Rs 5530.00 for free on the new car.

2. For corporate clients recognized by Ford for special pricing(My wife is at Wipro, so this applies to us): Fiesta Petrol, Discounts for ZXi and SXi --> Rs 51,415.00 and Rs 53,915.00 on the ex-showroom price. The advantage is that since the reduction is on the ex-showroom, one also gets road tax benefits to the tune of 9% of the reduced amount.

These offers were communicated to me over phone. I am confident of skimming a little more from the dealers on a visit to the showroom. Say, the accessories worth Rs 2470.00(floor mats, mud flaps, etc).

There is a difference in the ex-showroom figure state to state right ? The sales guy had told me the difference of corporate discounts from a company like Wipro and another company not listed with Ford. It was a huge difference. So, considering the AP exshowroom and the Wipro corp discount, whats the best they are quoting as of now ? According to my limited knowledge, bigger corporate discounts are decided by the Ford India HO, not by the dealer.

Thats true. The difference that I noticed is usually between Rs 1,000.00 to Rs 3,000.00.

During the other months, the offering was like this:
1. Individual/ Another company not listed: Free insurance and other accessories totaling around Rs 35,000.00.
2. Individuals from recognized corporates, discount of Rs 44,430.00(Fiesta petrol 1.6 EXI) to Rs 53,915.00(Fiesta petrol 1.6 SXI ABS) on the ex-showroom price.

But, now that the year end sales are here, the discounts for individuals and corporates seem to be similar and in the form of cash discounts as I mentioned in my previous post.

Again, you are right about the corporate discounts, Ford India HO(Chennai) decides that pricing and the discounted ex-showroom price is actually invoiced from the company itself.

No, for that matter, I don't think any company does.

I am following the Ford dealer here at lucknow. and he said that corporate discount will open tomorrow and then only he will take the booking, the current discount for listed company is 50k, it may be increased by a bit.

your calculation is correct, going for a corporate discount is better because the discount is given on ex showroom and thereafter the road tax and insurance is calculated.

as per your post it seems that the corporate discount is now open for december 2009

I am still wondering if something like an SXI is still being sold? Or what we are discussing for ruchir is SXI premium.

I was informed that the 60K off was from the ex-showroom price. Please re-check.

3M vs LLumar

Guys,
Which sun film is best, 3M or LLumar within the RTO specified tint range and the expected price range for these.
Any specific models to go for within these two. Also please suggest good dealers in chennai for both these. I checked with Haute Car Zone in OMR, the do the LLumar, I want to check the 3M dealers as well.

If the discount of Rs.60k can be adjusted in the showroom value and then prepare Invoice accordingly i.e original showroom price less this Rs.60k discount, then you can save some money on the Road tax, as roadtax calculated (6% to 12% depending the place of registration) on the showroom value.
If this is the case your saving will be much more than the Rs.60k.

So check on this also?

This is true and that is the benefit over the individual discount, the corporate discount is given on ex showroom and then the Road tax and insurance is calculated which is a benefit over individual discount where the discount is given over OTR price

Hey Popo, SXI is very much there. If you want airbags on your fiesta, SXI and S are the only options. 'Premium' is a word that is used every now and then by Ford on all variants according the festivals and season. It was EXI premium couple of months back sold with music system and few other extra accessories for a discount. Then it was the new SXI with chrome all over the possible areas, which is still in the market. Now its ZXI sold as premium because you get leather seats and some chrome touches here and there. I think Ford is using the word 'premium' whenever they get some extra shipment of chrome, so that is applied somewhere on some variant and launched as NEW.

As far as I know, any booking, you need to pay some advance amount (my dealer asked Rs.50k) and once the car is allotted to you and VIN number is available, then you can arrange the balance payment. Dealer will issue Invoice and other documents for RTO only after they recieve the full amount !
