Pardon my ignorance - when do you use the sunroof ?
The drive in the city isn't great, you just got to be patient and ignore the guys honking from behind once the turbo kicks in, you hardly get too see the other cars in the rear view mirrors, I believe the gear ratios are taller and thats why it such a great highway cruiser, picture this it hits 100 kph at 2100 or 2200 and 140 at 3000 revs. I am sure this car can do 170+.

Has any one tried the top end in the CRDI i20?

Yestarday I smoked a petrol swift desire, I guess he was shocked at the way my car rocketed past him and in no time I was doing 155+.

Excellent car. Excellent snaps (door mirror should have been opened though). Nice colour too.
If it's not a big problem, I would like to shoot your car. Just let me know if that's all right.

Thanks, I too felt the mirrors should have been open, but I was kinda lazy to go and press the button.

I will be back to Bangalore only by next sunday. Let me know if thats fine.

KeepItSimple :- I normally use the sunroof, when the weather is cool and when I am on the highways.

That sounds fine. I'm also back by Sunday evening. This means we need to plan it for week next. I'll send a pm.

In the meantime keep your car clean. Do not drive rash and all.

Sure. I am very slow driver when there is traffic around, only when I find some open space, I floor the throttle.

For those of you who haven't seen what the wiring harness looks like, here are a few pics. I don't have the relay still, yet to buy it.

Here you can see the ceramic holders.

Are you sure you won't have a problem using those non-street legal bulbs?

Well, when I can barely see using the street legal bulbs, I believe this is the best option I have.

He should not have a problem, unless the cops are behind him. Apart from this, the reflector might become dull over a period of time due to the higher temperature of the bulb

Returned from Shimogga yestarday. It was raining till Tumkur, so I was driving with extreme caution. I found the tyres to be very noisy yesterday on rough roads, is it because of the wet road? normally they werent so noisy, any way I dont have the moolah to change them either. Normally how many kilometers does a set last?

Guys can I add the following to the i20 without changing the HU?

1) An Amp.
2) Infinity kappa series comps.

A few snaps of the sunroof in the rain.

Hi Rbp,

Congratulations! for your i20 and for baby boy.

By the way I just returned back from my wife's native Shimoga, around 280 kms drive. I have been getting lot of back pain, any suggestions?[/quote]

Anuj : I think you need to check your seating position. I drove from Mumbai to Delhi and also back, I was driving 12 hours a day and didn't had any fatigue or not even tired.

I believe the gear ratios are taller and thats why it such a great highway cruiser, picture this it hits 100 kph at 2100 or 2200 and 140 at 3000 revs. I am sure this car can do 170+.

I don't know about CRDi but with my 1.2 Petrol I tried to pushed it to limits (on Ahemdabad - Baroda express way) I was able to achieve 160 after that it was not moving.
