I really enjoyed those pics. Even a drive photography looks more like an ad. Particularly those taken on the roads when the cars were in motion next to each other. Superb!

So you two really managed to have that kind of a time to get away from office and do this, eh!

Nice narration and excellent pictures. Specially the pics of moving cars taken with ND filter.

Although your journey started with a wrong note, it finished well.

Great write up Rudra and brilliant Pics.

FIAT cars has one of the most amazing handling capabilities. I own a GP and I never feel tired of driving it. FIATs are truly amazing cars, hope FIAT works in the right direction to establish better market hold in India.

@Rudra, amazing pics - as always. Loved the DoF you have captured there. The pics of the cars in motion ... look like they were shot on the (Tata/Fiat) test track and not on the highway. How did you do it ?

Good Review and amazing pictures. I wish I could be part of such drives. Voted for "5" stars.Kudos to Team-BHP mods.
Till date have driven 1700 kms in my Punto MJD and the love for the car has only increased. The car(Punto) can handle Indian roads very well.

Excellent write-up and pics. Pure mag material, but in a higher class of photography.
Its nice to know they invited TBHP for the drive.

Fantastic photos and a superb review. FIAT is doing the right things, but may be at a slow pace. Their persistence will pay off.

Kudos to the team-bhp mods and the forum. We know we have a say and it counts.

rudra made for an excellent read and the pictures have been a real treat for lesser mortals like us.

We can now relate to the reply Fiat official gave at the press conference to a particular question: “What’s so different or special about Fiat cars, compared to others?”

He Replies: “Drive our cars and then you will know.”

And yes we know now.

One may dislike Fiat due to the bad image the brand built up during the initial years. But once you drive their cars over couple of 100 km, you will see a very different perspective. They say “some cars have soul”. One definitely cannot ignore.
Maybe you should have told him that in Europe they say FIAT is the abbreviated form of Fix It Again Tony. Well this came from a colleague who drives a Fiat in Europe.
I think they still have long way to go in terms if service and spares. Just being optimistic of the fact that they get their act together and bring in a change.

Honestly I aint taking a dig at FIAT, but then with such lovely cars they produce they need to have enough service support too.

Great write-up Rudra!
I found it to be well-balanced & concise (to the point). The pics, of course, are magnificent & very inspiring

Hope we catch-up on such drives in future too!

Cheers!

Tucking myself inside blue Punto's hatch. It was uncomfortable for sure. Cars were doing around 100 then.

Actually they called us before in between their tour. It was a very small notice to plan our leave from office.
