Thanks, will try this or ask the service engineer to do it and confirm back,

meanwhile i have noticed one thing which is really lacking everywhere and just noticed in FORD service station as well...

PLANNING

when Ford Figo was speculated to be launched the Ford dealership made room in its showroom for the the addition which would happen due to new customer base and small segment car, but the same in missing in the service station,

it caused a big mess as there are good number of figo also going for routine services but the setup was there keeping in mind the exisitng setup, after getting deep into the mess, they are extending their service station and till then the service appointments at a huge intervals of time

If they could have planned, things would have been different....

this shows how much a company is serious in SALES and not in SERVICE...

After Figo was introduced in the market, the service stations are now very busy because they are trying to handle the rush with the same staff/mechanics which putting everyone hardship. Ofcourse some workshop especially in major cities have made sufficient arrangements to meet the rush but not all the dealers.

You are absolutely right in saying that Ford had not planned to upgrade its service network to accomodate the Figo rush. Last month when I had gone to the service centre to replace the damaged Right OVRM, I was told that it might take two days to get an appointment since presently they are handling Figo first services.

On any given day there are around 20-25 Figo's waiting for servicing and this has taken a toll on the Fiesta/Ikon servicing needs. There are no dedicated bays for Ford models due to which the cars are randomly taken to any bay for servcing.

This sudden rush has even taken a toll on the service personnel who are too stressed to deal with the situation. Hope Ford takes a note of the same.

They should increase their number of service station as well to tackle the situtation.

But some of the dealershops, there is hardly any extra space available to extend the garage and workshop facilities. Such people will have to move to a new /bigger place which will be costly aspect. So, I think they will just carry on with thier existing set up, but alteast they can increase the workmen strength so that the work can be attended fast and clear the
rush/waiting.!

I am glad that I won't have to face such problems. My dealer, Harpreet Ford, Gurgaon is opening a new dealership (and shutting this down) which is much more bigger. The problem is that it would be around 10Km away from where it is right now. It may happen in August, there employees tell me this.
I mean, I wouldn't mind going the extra mile(s) if the service is good.

The sooner it is, better it would be for us. I have just started my initial ownerhip report for My Fiesta I bought from them. Thread awaiting approval as i am a newbie. I am going to talk about harrowing experience I had with Harpreet Ford Gurgaon soon in that thread.

Congrats on your new Fiesta. Which variant is this?

And sad to hear about your bad experience with them. For me, it was smooth sailing. My car was delivered within the stipulated time. I am still to get a taste of their service but that is 3 months or many a miles from now. My Fiesta 1.6S is nearly two weeks old.

And just for the record, you cannot post dealership experiences in ownership threads, for that, you must start a new thread in this sub-forum. If you post dealership experiences in your ownership thread, the moderators would lock your thread.
Drive safe!

Is it only a dent or that area is broken?
if only dent without any damage, the workshop may be able to pull it and paint, otherwise they may have to change the bumber..

Sad to know that the rear bumper was damaged due to the moronic biker. Have you showed it to the workshop, how much is it going to cost you? Pls post some pics of the damage.
